I like the poker analogy. Contributing to a prize pool and playing for it is more appealing for me... that way, it feels like there's a chance to influence the outcome based on skill rather than random luck.
The winner and contributors will need to be published openly for transparency. But agree with MuchAdo, fraught with issues if done anonymously.

This man is on a one-man mission . Not to save the world, but to mentally dominate every single thought that dares cross his brain. He doesn’t just think, he dissects, debates, and cross-references each idea while simultaneously juggling 30 others like he’s got tabs open in his mind with no intention of closing any of them.
