1 hr = 40 mins?

1 hr = 40 mins?

I've always booked 1 hr sessions, but from getting the green signal, entering the premises, initial small talk, shower before starting session and shower at the end, seems like there is often only 35-40 mins of actual action? When does the timer actually start and stop? Feels like I've been shortchanged a few times at established agencies and I've had to leave before 1hr too as the buzzer has gone off but it's much earlier?
Thoughts appreciated. Ta

Think about it.
It's a hour in the premises including shower getting dressed etc
Talking included.
You are buying an hour of her time.
If you are being rushed out in say 40 mins. You have 2 options. Manage the time better, like slow her down.
Or don't go back.
Try to talk to the lady you know friendly chat etc. Compliment her. Build rapport.
Cos if she doesn't like you she wants you gone.

Generally the clock starts the moment you step through the door.
A SW that knows their business has worked out the science of the pacing of a booking and will have something like a music list or something to act as subtle reminders for them.
So yes, walking through the door is on the clock, getting to know you chat is on the clock, having a shower before getting into the action is on the clock, doing the do, having a breather and if you're able doing the do again is all on the clock, as is having a second shower.
Essentially no 1 hour booking is 1 hour of bonking, it is a parcel of time in which all the above happens.
In other words if you're walking out the door within a few minutes (either side) of 1 hour after you walked through the door, then you have had a 1 hour booking.
If you are going through an agency, and you're sure that your booking was cut short without an excuse or you choosing to leave early, then contact the reception straight away, but be sure that you're right, because they'll almost certainly have evidence of when you entered the premises and when you left, so they'll know.

Yeah this is something that agencies could improve on like giving an extra 10-15 mins free for shower time and small talk or something.
The Bedroom in Wellington used to do something like this without explicitly stating it.
I wonder whether they still function that way.
If you want to save time, just forget chit chat and go straight to sex.

Give 10 - 15 minutes free. Why would they do that ?
Your plumber or motor mechanic wont give you 15 minutes free.
Think about it. Their booking system no doubt works on half, 1 hour 2 hour etc.
Tacking on an extra 15 minutes on over a day adds up to serious down time.
Now and again it does happen when the worker isn't busy and she likes you she will go overtime.
But I wouldn't expect it.

My plumber will only bill for the time he actually spends doing the work and that is exactly my point.

Most of us have a shower at home before we leave and yet we have another basic one (or 2) there at our cost ($360 per hour escort and a five minute shower is actually $30 wasted).

My exact argument is that the actual time provided for the service is only 35 to 40 mins and yet we are charged for the hour

When I was there circa. 2020, they had stopped excluding the final shower in the booking time because clients kept taking the piss (to put it plainly). Too many would watch the clock and wait to pop at the last minute and/or dilly dally while getting dressed to get as much time as possible. It was sometimes turning into 30 mins over time.

Unfortunately this is what punting in NZ has become in the last 5 years a constant rush that is completely transactional and focussed on time.
Some of these working girls are counting the time by the second not the minute and it makes sense when we punters are paying alot of money per minute.

Any little tricks focussed on time is strict a no return for me and Unfortunately most SWs are doing it these days

These SWs want to do as little work as possible and get paid the most for it. Unacceptable

Everybody who is vaguely normal wants to do as little work as possible and get paid the best possible rate for it ... welcome to the human race.
Here's the thing you book for an hour then there is more than just fucking that makes up that time.
If you don't like that reality you have a few options, book longer, have an argument (that you will loose) with the agency, or masturbate (then you can take as long as you want).
These people aren't running a charity, it is a job ... what's so hard to figure out?

How to tell me you're a beginner without telling me you're a beginner.

This is a common misunderstanding. I've been punting 2 decades and can count the number of exceptions on one hand. It used to bug me.

Accept what you can not fix and fix what you can,

a) do not go back if you feel it has been a deliberate ploy,
b) extend your booking, will get you more 'value'.

But fall into the clock watching trap, you only risk leaving your booking disappointed and forgetting the good bits.

I swear most of these SWs these days is like paying a painter $1000 to paint your fence.

Then they only paint half of it in the wrong colour and take all your money :ROFLMAO:

Try to value the experience they give rather than valuing the minutes and you are far more likely to leave happy with the outcome.

As for your painting analogy, a quality painter might prove twice as fast and give you a far superior job than an inexperienced one. Regardless, you are still looking at a painted fence.

As for myself, I book my regular SW by the day, not the hour. Yet there have been occasions her 15 minute quicky can feel just as satisfying.

Punting is ultimately a mind fuck and if you let clock watching rent space in your head, it will only hasten to break the illusion you paid for.
