I messaged her once but she wanted a bank transfer before giving me the address. Her ad says "pre-bookings require deposit" but this wasn't a pre-booking as I wanted to come right away and she said that she was available. So that was a no deal from me. If others can vouch for her then maybe I'll reconsider one day but for all I knew it was just a scam.

Probably for the best.
2 or 3 years ago I messaged making a booking 2 days in advance. The next morning my flatmate tested positive for covid so figured it was best I cancel (I of course later came down with it). Obviously cancellations are annoying but I still gave 24 hours notice. I then received text abuse and demands for the money for several days after so ended up blocking her number. A good reminder to use a burner number that can just be discarded if needed.
