Herbal Viagra alternatives that work??

Is that statement based on knowing or suspecting?
Not doubting the veracity of the statement, as reading a few other people's experiences they all say much the same thing, that it has an unlisted ingredient.
Do you have any hunches as to what the mystery ingredient is?

Interesting conversation.
I personally wouldn't use it simply based on there being the possibility of something else being in there.

This is just me suspecting, just really based on how well it worked and reading other people reviews with the same thoughts. Maybe someone with experience with ED drugs would be able to confirm this

Ive updated my first review with the word 'Probably' as i cant prove it but i do believe something is in there

I believe the “hidden ingredient” is
sildenafil.

When i worked as a pharmacist a common side effect of these were congested nose (which when i take black thai after 15min i got the congested nose), and increased light sensitivity.

Bur as the other guy mention it would be cheaper to get viagra from pharmacy (provided u fit the requirements).

The study

was a test of butea superba extract, one of the main claimed active ingredients in those 'black thai honey' products. Basically, the researchers bought some from an unnamed source, and in an initial unblinded study worked at least within the margin of error as good as sildenafil, indeed with better numbers (but a small sample).

That sounded great- so they did another double-blind test with another sample.. where they found no effect for patients taking the extract. At that point, they went "Hey... the first batch seems to work... like viagra or cialis ('a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor')... maybe it is". They checked with the company that sold them the supplements and yup, turned the first batch had something special added in alright. Almost certainly sildenafil if the effects are coming on quick for you.

I'm not saying don't use it if you've got it, if it's got sildenafil in it that won't have been cooked up in an old Scrumpy bottle in the back of a motor home, it'll come from the same chemical supply places selling it as powder for cents a dose before it's compounded into pills as viagra from a pharmacist is. I'm sure the stuff with sildenafil in it is fine if you use it in moderation and don't take multiple doses a day, and take care if you have heart issues and other contraindications for sildenafil. I just wouldn't buy it over (much less expensive per dose) sildenafil thinking that you're better off because it's '*******', when it very likely is not entirely so (and hey, even the best ******* things can be bad in excess- just look at brazil nuts).

Wow, that's a bit dangerous.
Because yeah Sildenafil shouldnt be used more than once per day, and not at all by people with some health issues.
So at some point some poor bugger will come undone because of that.
Agreed, better just to get a prescription, as at least then you know it has been properly formulated and that you are in the right physical state to not harm you.
All for something n a t u r a l if it works, would love that in fact, but if they are just going to ad a pharmacutical to a bunch of random things and then not tell anyone, no thanks.

Agreed. My piss is the same sort of color that the Feds want all our rivers to be, I take a bunch of stuff that has only very limited evidence behind it for stress. I'm not against anything ******* or doing your own research.

I just would recommend that anyone considering dosing themselves up ask a decent AI search engine (I like

) questions (with the 'slow mode' turned on) like the following:
I am considering taking Ashwagandra to boost my testosterone. Is there any evidence from double blind trials that would support this? What are potential downsides? If I do, should I take it with or without food?

And if you really want some potentially decent answers.. get the results from your latest blood tests, feed that in, and supply some information about your exercise, diet, and any supplements you take.

Yes, you'll probably get that same boring "you need to exercise more" that you heard from your doctor. And you should do it. But if you are- like I am- prone to self medicating with stuff you can't ever remember the names of to tell your doctor, you might get useful tidbits. Like fish oil being a bad idea if you have elevated 'bad cholesterol' (seed extracts like hempseed oil are a safer choice if you don't want to drive that up).

I've just started taking Go Healthy Men's Libido support at the recommendation of the pharmacist -

, in combination with Lecithin. Will see how it goes, but a few days in I'm definately feeling more energetic overall.

Since I've just done this I'll add that pharmacy walk-in without script they'll prescribe Sildenafil (Viagra) after a short assessment, but won't give you Tadalafil (Cialis) without a doctor prescription. I went to my local chemist warehouse.

Just an update for anyone who is interested, FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Black Thai Honey contains sildenafil, tadalafil and diclofenac not listed on the product label.
