Dear Members,

We've noticed a significant increase in new registrations daily. To manage this influx, we are CONSIDERING implementing membership fees for new accounts (this is not confirmed yet). If you are reading this now , it won't affect you.

Members that are already registered will enjoy lifetime free membership as a token of our appreciation. Additionally, those who actively contribute to the forum will receive special perks (we're still deciding on these, so feel free to share your ideas).

We also welcome any suggestions on how we can improve the forum.

Thank you for growing the forum together.

I conform this
with membership on, this will not grow
if I were the outsider and want to see the content, and there is a membership fee. I will walk away - principle of broke guy --> clarified, not our hero brokeguy118, but me.

about significant registration flux
what are the cons?
is 1 mod not enough to manage them?

I'm not sure if it's a good idea but I think it is worth considering. It will cut down on the number of fake accounts and provide a bit of income to support the running of the site and fund the perks. Sure you will lose out on some potential members but most people who join a forum never contribute anything so who gives a fuck. Perks will bring in some additional new members to help balance out the loss.

Bliss and CharlieQuinn should be put on a $100 a week membership plan.

In all seriousness I guess a spike in new registrations was bound to happen since this forum is still relatively new and people are just starting to hear about it. It is already much more active than shitty adultforum so a lot of people from there will sign up. I imagine a lot of working girls will sign up as well wanting to read their reviews 🤣

Admin, there's a few ways to go about this and all with pros and cons.

1. Charge members a fee to use the forums.
Pros: You don't have to get funds elsewhere that could limit the integrity of the forum.
Cons: The community is the backbone of any message board. There are those, myself included, who would never pay to be part of a forum so you're stunting your own growth. You could wait until it's bustling then introduce a fee but guaranteed people are going to leave and this will die.

2. Charge agencies and independents a fee to advertise.
Pros: Remains free for the community
Cons: Those agencies and independents are going to have some demands with regards to the management of the forum so their agencies look good (or don't look bad). It will no longer be a free speech forum. You could put your foot down and say no, I'll run it how I like and they choose whether they want to advertise here. I think regardless, if this forum kicks off, business-wise - they would probably still advertise here because of the traffic. Although I must say, there could be a real risk of boycott from agencies with the lawlessness that goes on around here.

I quite like how 108 does things.
They have banners for agencies on the main page.
They have an agency only section where they have their own threads for advertising promos and new girls.
Their members earn currency for activity and daily check-ins (promoting activity) this currency can be used to read quality posts that members have put a charge on.
Their members can seemingly say whatever they like, not sure on moderation over there.

@Proboner speaking facts out here.
But i would like to add my thoughts on this.
How much do you all spend on punting a month , lets say $500 a month, if the forum charges $10 a month membership fee. The $10 is a tiny 2% fee for people to pay to read reviews that could help them avoid bait and switch scams. Those who can spend so much a month on punting , logically speaking i don't think $10 is an issue for them.

Even our king of brokies the almighty @BrokeGuy118 has spoken,

I understand there are running costs into maintaining a forum and it is fair for them to want to get paid but if this forum somehow decides to charge a ridiculous amount then good luck mate.

As long as this forum don't turn into Adult forum that protects the agencies that pay them and do some DND to cheat us. Maybe just work with the legit ones instead of protecting the scammers? Don't turn into Adult Forum man, we have a good thing going on here.

They can't do shit, if they want to boycott, move your server. They can't do shit if you move the server. Like the Singapore sex forum that was caught up in a scandal where they have a section for members posts upskirt videos of girls. Singapore authority tried to stop it but cant do shit. The owner moved the servers overseas and had the last laugh.

I think regardless of the decision made to charge membership fee or not. This forum is undeniably growing crazy fast (Have seen a few small forums started and failed in the past) and is the only real forum in NZ that sides the punters and do justice to the real escorts who do not scam.
How many good punts have you guys had after joining this forum and reading the reviews? Ever since i joined, i almost always only go to the escorts that have been reviewed on here to avoid wasting time and money. How many fake escort profiles detected and posted here have saved us our money?
Charge membership fees or whatever fees but please do not turn into another adult forum!

Keep it up Sex Forum, This forum will be the best escort forum in NZ and all of us here will be the OG members that have been supporting this since launch. ( Petition to give us OG members a OG title or something)

I meant boycott as in, they can choose not to advertise with you thereby taking away a source of revenue if you cannot meet their demands (DND or moderation policy).

So question is, do you strike a balance somehow to maintain integrity of the website? Or do you want nothing to do with agencies and fully hone in on the users? It seems the users don't want another AdultForum at the very least.

I think we should not charge membership fees for new members.
Like someone mentioned, this will be the hub for all punters and is on the right track to be the best escort forum. Dont mess up the growth. Its not worth it.

This forum impresses me everyday, giving a chance to members to share their ideas and thoughts for the direction of the forum.
You don't see this everyday, respect.

its mainly catered for chinese punters. That place is a cesspool of fake reviews. Agents writing their own review.
Also unregulated asf, if any forum is to be taken down it should be them first

Theres really not much escorts outside of auckland to write about. Shit ones in auckland go to smaller towns to scam for a few weeks then return to auckland. Cycle continues.
