Was this Johnsonville or Petone?
I’m also curious how PT works as I’ve heard mixed things. When you make a booking and arrive at their premises, do you have to interact with any admin staff or do you immediately meet the girl?

PT is pretty straightforward. The girl meets you at the door and you go straight in.
They are good to deal with over the phone too and don’t give you a hard time if you have to cancel.
The Petone premises are really nice. The Johnsonville ones are a bit open to the street and there’s only one ensuite room.

Normally you are meant to meet the girl at the door. But I've personally bumped into other clients there and also had the wrong girl meet me at the door. Scheduling and skill problem here with PT. So be weary, you can bump into others (girls and clients).
On one rare occasion, had another client open the door! Wrong room ffs!!!
