I recently saw an escort for the 2nd time, about 1 year after the 1st time. She still had my number, and she'd named me as "nice guy with...(identifying details)".

Another girl I've seen many times always seems surprised when she opens her door and sees me, so either she's a good actress or she deletes all her old messages.

I'm interested to know what other providers do. Do you keep the message history? Do you add clients as contacts? Do you make up descriptive names for them, or record details to jog your memory?
 
I saved some only for good or bad reasons. But I never delete messages so have a running conversation of all communication from that number. I can confirm lots of people must assume we delete all prior comms as I’ve often been taken back with the audacity of some.

Although I do like the idea of the “surprise” element you described above, almost a wee adrenaline rush, however I’ve had a few too many surprises 😳 to feel safe enough to delete all the messages.

I can understand how that would have unsettled you.

I never text ppl outside of the initial contact unless they give permission even then I felt almost awkward or it was an accident. The saving of numbers was just for a memory tag rather than to contact. This is specific to me so maybe different to how other SW work.
 
I second what Lara said. I don't store numbers unless I've been asked to contact clients when I've got dates booked for their town.

I do keep messages though as I like to see who I'm dealing with. I like to know whether I've seen you before or not, and whether you've come across as fine or a bit of a dick in past enquiries. You can get a reasonable feel for people even via text.
 
I save the number of everyone I spend time with, always under the same format. So a typical contact name for me would be: 🟩John 1hr GFE Sept25 Hamilton. There's a lot of 'John's' hahah.

If you get the good boy green square, then I'll be far more accommodating about making a time work for us both, booking outside of my usual work hours or trying to shuffle things around and so on. Orange means I've left myself a note to go read but would still be happy to see them again, it can anything from "WARNING: MONSTER DONG" to "A little grabby and rough but a nice guy, manageable." Red means we won't be seeing each other again lol.

I only tour though so a system like this is pretty important to stay on top of things admin wise for me.

I will never ever cold call or text someone without them requesting it though. I have a contact list for each city I visit for gents who specifically said they'd like me to contact them next time I'm in town. If I don't get a reply from them once though I'll take them off the list just to be safe, you never know if his circumstances have changed, he's now got a partner or can no longer reply on that number for work reasons or whatever.

I don't take any risks with discretion, for their sake too ofc but also because I don't want someone's angry girlfriend or wife trying to hunt me down haha. I'm a lover not a fighter!

Thanks for the thoughts Lara (and Ivy). I assume a girl (or the boss) will keep my messages, for just the sort of reasons you give. I also appreciate discrete notifications from regulars from elsewhere who are planning their tour. It's alwasy good if the initial contact is something vanilla, like "Hi", which gives receiver the option to initiate the discussion when it's convenient.
 
I usually preserve of text messages and phone numbers, I also note the type of service I provide and their preferred drinks to see if they'll become regulars (To become regulars must make bookings more than three times--discounts or add-ons available). So, I hope my clients don't change their phone numbers unless you have texts or transfer history. I'll never proactively text a client, though. Of course, I will also mark the phone number of the rubbish inquirerand ignore/block

Yes absolutely! I use a similar emoji code to Ivy, for regulars, repeat clients, and clients I've only seen once so far but would love to see again etc.

I also keep my entire conversation histories so I have context for everyone regardless of if we've met. You would be flawed by the number of time wasters who text repeatedly like its the first time they've targeted us 😂

More than anything, it lets me see who has been persistent in trying to book, especially if I keep seeing their texts after the reply window has elapsed*. It gives me the impression they're trying to see me specifically, which is almost always a great time for both of us.

*the reply window is such a nightmare sometimes. I've gotten great texts that I've seen too late, and they almost never enquire again 😭 If people have impeccable booking etiquette, that deserves a response, and I hate that I can't always give one.
 
Surely I can’t be the only one to msg while fucking around at the end of the booking msg the SWer to try and see what comes up.
