I'm going to be visiting Auckland at the end of the month and have been looking into SM massage places within walking distance of the CBD. Each girl has a lovely, printed menu for you to peruse while waiting for her to appear. (And presumably time to check your wallet for sufficient funds). Prices vary, but are reasonable in my experience. They are typically $50 or so cheaper than I experience elsewhere. It’s reassuring to know that you’re getting charged the same as everyone else, and not a price pulled out of the air, based on the cut of your jib, or “reasons”.

However, in my case, as I get such good service, I’ve always felt guilty at the “discount’ and tipped another Sir Āpirana Ngata for good measure. Well worth it, as it makes me feel a big baller and not a schmuck.

Heya, SR girl here. You can ask reception for the extras lists of the girls you're interested and they'll happily send them through if that helps your decision making x
If you're after something in particular let reception know and they can check with the girl on the day that she is in fact offering it to allow you time to change to another masseuse if they are not x
