I had a rather frustrating encounter recently that I felt compelled to share with you all. I drove through 25 minutes of bad traffic to meet an escort I found online, only to be greeted by someone who looked nothing like the person in the ad. Understandably, I got angry at the door and confronted her about it, and her explanation was quite surprising.
She claimed that she couldn't use real photos or similar ones because she's trying to keep her escorting job a secret from her husband and family. According to her, using fake photos was a necessary measure to protect her anonymity and avoid potential consequences in her personal life. She also mentioned that she plans to stop using fake photos once she earns enough money.
During our conversation, I warned her that I would write a negative review and walk off without booking. In response, she texted me, pleading with me not to write a bad review and promised to stop using fake photos after she earns enough money. She explained that the money she earns is for emergencies.
Now, here's where I'm torn: on one hand, I'm frustrated by the deceptive advertising tactics and the wasted time and effort on my part. But on the other hand, I can't help but sympathize with her situation if her story is indeed true.
So, I turn to you all for some advice. Do I simply let it go or do I have an obligation to warn others about the possibility of encountering similar situations? I don't want to cause harm to someone's personal life, but at the same time, I feel a sense of responsibility to inform others about what I experienced and expose her escort profile here.
What do you think?
