If you are between 35-70ylo and have no underlying heart conditions you should in theory be eligible for a pharmacist supply.
This does involve a consult with a pharmacist, the main thing is the blood pressure test. Some people get naturally more stressed in consult room, but regardless you wont be eligible if it is over 160/95.
Other failure points is history of nitrate medicines and smoking. So don't go in smelling like cigarettes or maybe go to a different chemist if you have had habitrol lozenges dispensed recently.
The consult should only take about 10minutes and the pharmacist might do multiple rounds with the machine to get an average as the first reading is generally higher.
If your blood pressure is significantly higher over multiple readings you should probably see a GP as there might be underlying heart issues causing ED, in some cases the GP might prescribe sildenadil without needing this testing. Otherwise if it's not too much over you could go back another time or try a different pharmacy.
If consult is successful you can request further sildenadil dispensings from that pharmacy for a whole year until you need another consult
The Vedafil (generic) brand is cheaper and usually noone seems to care that it's not the original brand (Viagra)

I'd encourage trying it if you're getting older and having some issues. As others have said, it makes punting much more relaxed and enjoyable as you don't have to worry about loosing your erection, so you can be more relaxed about foreplay, etc.
I tried going to a chemist, but my blood pressure was a little high, so went off to the GP, who advised a bit more exercise and less weight, otherwise I might need blood pressure drugs. That was a great incentive!
You can experiment with the time and dose. I don't need a whole hour before a punt and of course it takes some time to get started anyway...
It does make me a little tired, so I wouldn't want to be using it much more than once a week. The usual advice of drinking quite a lot of water helps. And though food probably slows it down I wouldn't want to take it on a completely empty stomach.
The annoying thing is that you tend to get 100mg pills unless you insist on smaller ones. I definitely don't need more than 50, though the one time I tied 25 it seemed a little small.
The cost of smaller pills is not much less, so many put up with cutting them. However, since, as I said, once a week is about my max, the extra cost is hardly significant compared to the cost of the punt.

50 is too much for me, I get flushed, snuffley, headachey. 25 is more fun and gives me that little bit of extra desired.
I'm 40's 75kg, pretty fit, excellent BP.
I take it 15 min or so before a hookup, it seems to last a few hours for me.
I do get headaches afterwards, especially if I have alcohol. One booking I had a few wines, whew, It was almost migraine territory.

Firstly, if your BP is high - see your GP. It is a risk factor in many diseases. Same for ED - it can be the canary in the coalmine - get checked and don't be embarrassed about asking. If your Dr doesn't want to help, get another Dr.

Nice. I'm keen to try it for multishot sessions, see if it makes a difference. I'm generally fit and healthy and in my late 30s no should be fine with no side effects hopefully.

Depends, I get 100mg slice them with a pill cutter. 10 years ago around 25mg worked well, now being an older fart nearer 50 mg works better. Buy the 100s and a cutter, more bang(s) for your buck.

Yes, I bought some generic over the counter in Thailand ("Sidegra"), which worked as well as the brand-name stuff for me.
However, I did find that pharmacies in small towns did not seem to stock it...

I don't need viagra to perform but I still find it generally makes sex better and I can last a lot longer and recover quicker. So I sometimes drop one to get the most out of a booking, especially considering I am paying hundreds of dollars for it.
Last time I went to Chemist Warehouse they said my last blood test was abnormal and refused to give me any and said to see my GP annoyingly.

For me, a 2nd shot takes longer if I've had a pill. But recovery is quicker and I can go for longer.
IME it does make you slower to blow
