My personal experiences are I’ve had more physical assault happen to me in Chch than Whangarei. I have had nice clients come and see me in Whangarei. I won’t be going back to Chch. My personal thoughts are that girls don’t often travel to Whangarei because it’s very far to travel and the risk vs reward factor might be too high for many. OP didn’t specify street workers. My understanding was he was just asking for recommendations in general. The assumption of street workers specifically here, seems inaccurate. Aside from this, I think we all have a basic understanding that street work in general comes with higher safety risks. This work in general comes with safety risks all the time, whether it’s in a bedroom, or outdoors somewhere. Trying to ‘dumb it down’ for someone else, seems unnecessary.
