WhatsApp Only

Any of you encountered a provider that only accepts messages via WhatsApp (outside of obvious locanto scam ads)? Just curious, since I encountered this recently, and it's a new one to me.

Can’t recall WhatsApp only. All I see or have seen list it. My preference when using phone for bookings. Really only use WhatsApp for bookings so easy to set settings the way I want.

Also can keep msgs easier or download if needed which is handy.

Its out of the ordinary but it may become the norm. Text messages are quite old fashion really.

WhatsApp are better as you can send photos etc. Doesn't require text credit (in case they only use wifi or are on a mobile plam), plus they are encrypted and much more private whereas the phone companies (and Government) can actually access your messages if they want to.

My only issue with WhatsApp being Meta was privacy and linking with instagram, contacts and facebook.

If privacy is a worry, remember if you use FB, FB has has an eye on everything you do on your phone. You agree to it in their terms.
