Well technically recording just the audio without their concent is not even illegal, although certainly unethical.

Of course we all over look the unauthorised video sex workers take of punters arriving and going. Heading to and from shower. Even number plates.

The places I've been have signs to say there's security cameras. Even the sticker that you get with a ring camera on the door is informing people that you are on camera when you ring the bell.
So it's not really unauthorized.

Doesn't answer the question of security of the recordings.
Given as I said I've watched punters coming and going myself.
How long is it stored ?
Might be with the Asian shops it's also about twigging immigration as well.

It's all sitting on a computer hard drive somewhere. Maybe in a different location as the manager may not be in that building.
When the computer gets old it will end up at the dump/recycle depot

something does not add up in the story , why was the sex worker snooping on punters phone while he was in the shower ? Was she trying to Dox him ?
and then he gives them the phone pass code and walks away , and does not even think to erase the phone from Find My iPhone ( same feature on androids)
There is another article which reads that the sex workers took screenshots of his phone gallery , possible airdropped to themseleves - Did they share the media in their chat social groups ?
