I'm sure there are a shit load of different reasons people come here . maybe to read reviews and maybe to write them -like Johnny punters self indulgent reviews.
maybe it's just to get involved in discussions about stuff you never discuss anywhere else. What brings you here?

I originally came here to look at reviews with the intention of writing some myself.

Then I got hooked on some of the topics, enjoying adding in my opinion.

I find that although reviews are informative, I tend to go by the recommendations I get from people I converse with in PMs. People who visit the same agencies as me and have asked me for more intel on the girls I’ve reviewed or commented on. So I’ve asked them for their opinions too.

I also like to see SWers promoting themselves here and joining in the banter. I’ve gone to see a couple of them and am sure glad I did.

As for Johnny’s reviews. I just read them for entertainment purposes. Never been influenced by one yet.

I’m only going to remain here while it’s interesting. When I get bored I’ll leave and be done with sex forums like this one.

I think its clear it is a combination of reasons for most people. Initially, for me when I joined way back in the beginning when the site first started up it was just to read reviews and get information as to which sex workers provide a good service and offer extras I want. I also felt the need to warn others about bad workers such as those that do bait and switching.

To be frank, most of my bookings I make are based on reviews I read on this forum. If I read a good review and it strikes my fancy I put the girl on my list. Recent examples would be Erin or Jordyn.

People like Big D always like to state that reviews (especially mine) do not influence their booking choices because they hate the fact we reviewers have influence. But the reality is that reviews do directly influence some people. Literally half of my bookings have been influenced by reviews I have read on here.

Then, of course, he is oblivious to the fact that he has been indirectly influence by my reviews. For example, he booked Sahara, and if I had never posted my review on Sahara, she may never have even signed up on this forum, at least at the time she did. I would also be curious to know how many people booked Dixie because of my review? You can pretend all you want it was her response and banter that made some of you book her, but the reality is there would have been none of that if I had never posted my review. So, of course, the idea that reviews have no influence is quite frankly ridiculous.

This is the FIRST time I've made any such statement and it was specifically relating to yours not affecting me (for reasons I won't go into). Never said anything about anyone else's. I just said, I tend to be more influenced by people I have PM conversations with. People I've built a rapport with. In fact I'm going with one of Banana's recommendations tomorrow who we've been talking about via PM.

The fact is there are reviews I've read that have influenced me. Just not yours. I'm sorry if that bruises your ego. Clearly you don't have the influence you think you do. Proven by the fact you're high-tailing it to a new forum. At least that's what you said you were doing. I guess that forum must be about as exciting as watching paint dry, huh?
