Yeah, I also dislike the look of Escortify, where your beautifully curated artwork may end up nestled beneath a gaping anus. NZG at least has standards, and if they actually enforced all their rules - which they do not - they would have a decent directory.

In fact I lean towards ‘Gold’ advertisers, knowing that those women tend to be serious about their businesses.

However, I’m also a pragmatist, so if someone appeals - either via a review, their participation on here, or both - where they are listed is of little consequence .

Looks like you need to incorporate in-room IT tuition into your touring programmes. Though I don’t understand those (older) guys ……. I mean if possession of reasonable IT skills was the difference between being periodically in, or forever out, of the vagina business, I’d be studying very, very hard.

I think 'raising standards' takes time, and having examples of how things can be done should people choose, could maybe help to raise the bar. The Wellington section used to resemble what a lot of the smaller towns do now, but it has improved as its become more populated.

It's part of the reason why I keep my photoshoot prices around the standard GFE rate, in the hope they will be pretty accessible to most.

Johnny staring at phone or computer screens isn't necessarily required to negotiate a ones journey through life. Some people pride themselves for staying away from devices. Yes there are benefits along with many downsides. For example wasting time on social media. Those older guys you mention might prefer other hobbies like reading or golf etc. Or hiding from the war office in their shed out back. They might source their fucks in the newspaper. Or on the street or established walk in brothels.

Ladies have had a love hate relationship with NZG forever. Many here will remember NZPleasures, a short lived attempt to create a ladies owned site. Needless to say it failed because it targeted a customer base that was just too small. The number of eyes required for it to succeed fell way short of what was required.

If another credible advertising site emerges, that means a third platform targeting punter funds (punters is where the money ultimately comes from). That means accepting more ads to generate revenue, which equates to advertising being less fussy about things like accuracy and credibility, as they fight each other for every dollar. That really isn't good for Ladies, Clients, or the industry as a whole. While I don't like the idea of just a duopoly, it is probably for the best in the current economic climate.

Where will things land when the dust settles? Who knows. What I do know is that the only way for credible ladies to control their advertising is through their own domain. Credible ladies have their own website, and as a result attract credible clients. Those who don't have their own domain will become part of the race to the bottom.

Pay for an ad, link to a website. Best insurance policy you could have at the moment.

What I find interesting in this,

"if you aren't paying for the product, you are the product"

First 20 years build a site that attracts the punters to look. Tell the WG's this is where the punters are so advertise with us - WG's are valued as the revenue generator / the punter clicks is the product they are selling.

"If you build it, they will come"

Now they have the punters attention, pull a 180. Tell the punters this is where the WG's are so subscribe with us - Punters are the valued revenue generator / the girls are now the product they are selling.

Charging both the players and the crowd could have worked if its the only game in town. They saw this as an opportunity to monetize both and thought to sell it as fixing a problem. They deserve this free kick to the balls for it - I hope it stings.

But a drop in by the competition with their "we are listening and willing to fix things" - match point right there.

AI offers sound free advice on dealing with a PR fail...I doubt they will follow it.

Yeah that's definitely going to be bullshit. Makes me wonder if some of the escorts will start typing out the number in the profile to work around it.

Also, while we're on the topic of corrupt corporate greed, who gets given this extra money? If NZG is really doing it for protection of the escorts then it should go to the escort but of course we know NZG is pocketing the extra money.

AND if it truly is a case of the escorts complaining about it then there should be an option for them to turn it on / off. That way the clients can just avoid those escorts and for the more reasonable ones. Feels weird to me that this rule gets applied to all the escorts, including those who never complained and are doing perfectly fine as is.

Heck, if anything, I'm willing to bet the toxicity will INCREASE because now there will be the added frustration of guys paying to message, and then either not getting a response or not liking the response they got.

For that matter, what's the protection mechanism for the clients if the escort doesn't reply despite spending the extra fee? Obviously, it doesn't exist....

NZ Pleasure failed because everything about it was bonkers.

The name was bonkers.
The website look was horrible.
The directory functioning was bonkers.

I was astounded that an experienced industry professional, Jordan Quinn, could get things so wrong.

Surely NZP was targeting the same customer base as NZG? It wasn’t the size of the targeted customer base that was the problem.

The biggest problem was I think it was run from a Commodore 256 computer, running in a shed on the back of a farm in rural Taranaki via dial up.

If not the slowest website on earth, it was not far behind!
