Why does extending booking cost heaps???

Saw a girl from sc today. Booked an hour session which is $320. Was carrying little extra cash and wanted to extend booking for another half hour more but the price for extending was $260.

Normally
$260 - half hour
$320 - hour

So if you think of extending it should cost $100-$150 more not the actual hh price

$580 - for 90 minutes thats way too isn’t it???

Simple economics in most cases- unless you are a regular.

Otherwise she wanted a break, while she also has you captive so to speak so can charge what she likes.

She may not like you. That isn't a personal criticism. We've all had an experience (more than once for me) where the SWer just doesn't like you.

Generally extended appointment times could've been used to see other clients with better overall profitability.

It is a trade off between risk of newcomers versus the security of a regular.

I asked a SWer about the quickies and whether they are worthwhile. She said they all add up at the end of the day. Often it can be throughput.

DH and LF generally do a prorata base if the time is available I believe. The other agencies its all about $$$ now. Not future business of keeping the customers happy that they will return.

An hour is about the maximum a WG can realistically indulge us that they're remotely interested and impressed with out verbal bravado. Longer than that gets exponentially harder to tolerate, hence some steepen their price to compensate.

I normally see different girls at SC and after 5 bookings (5 hours) they provide half hour free as a regular visiting customer. I used to apply that scheme but they are not running those discounts anymore.

May be its all about $$$ may be

Yep. The more 30 min bookings the more profit for management and SW. if she can last that’s a lot of punters in a day.
Remember Millie at BT. She had such a bad rep cos she was doing 12 hour days. No chance of a punter getting GFE and she was raw and sore from the pounding.

You haven’t provided us with all the facts. What would the tariff have been for a scheduled 90 minute booking?

Did the woman have any discretion with respect to the extension charge of was the tariff dictated by management.?

If I can try to explain
When you asked to extend
- did the SW say straight away No or did she have to check with the manager?
- checked with manager who said “ pay for a half hour booking as another punter ?
- did you ask if you extend will it be a equal rate increase ie 1 hour rate x 1.5
( eg $320 x 1.5 =$480.00)

So true. Unless you can keep going most of the time. One SW said they had a three hour booking. So boring. Ran out of things to talk about. Often the case if the SW is hot, but with no life experience.

Well I did pre book her a week ago for an hour. I went there, she asked me for shower had a chat and she told me that she specifically came to see me as I had pre booked her. Told her before shower if she is happy could I extend an half hour as after my booking finish at 11:30 am she was going home. But later she said the girl downstairs( receptionist) handles this so she asked $260 an half hour base price as there is no pricing for 90 mins

When they were located at the viaduct I asked for a 90 min booking as another was told they don’t do those. I mean two 30 min bookings earns more $$ than an hour so to try and get 90 min at some places …

Alternatively, the client may be a dullard or lack English proficiency. I remember someone I used to see, telling me of a client - in the latter category - who blew within 5 minutes, wasn’t up for either conversation or a reload, making for a tedious 55 minutes.

In addition to various points raised above, I'll add to this. & I say this as someone who does math almost all day for work.

the girls general mathematical aptitude can have a big influence.

once you are horizontal with the SW and bring up various options for extras / time extensions etc. The value proposition of the various extra service proposed often make little sense when compared to eachother, or the original booking fee. Sometimes various things too pricey, sometimes things too cheap. Especially with kiwi/thai/south American girls.

With chinese/japanese girls, the various extras and their fees will usually make good sense, I've found.

my theory is this comes back to basic mathematical ability and generally what is instilled in the worker during their basic education.
