He was called Zork on AF. He claimed he had Triad connections and made increasingly dire threats towards me if I didn’t retract my review. I wasn’t too fussed about myself, but I did worry that he might turn his anger back towards Lola, if he (in his twisted little mind) felt betrayed by her. I brought up the fact that AF DMs were being used for threatening behaviour to Patrick (Mr AF), but the sniffling little weasel wasn’t interested, as PT had stopped advertising on NZGs by then. He clearly wasn’t a fan of mine, as my subsequent AF banning proved.

I host the biggest home games in Auckland (as I don’t take rake, they are technically legal), the majority of the players being Chinese. It takes a lot of cash to get a seat in the game, and I don’t ask where it comes from. If Triads exist in NZ, I’d have to think, my players know them or are them. I brought up my Zork problem, Triad threats, etc. After a bit of Chinese banter between themselves, I was told not to worry… so who knows? Maybe he got a stern talking to. I never heard from Zork again.
