OP probably has nothing left to catch so he doesn't GAF
Yikes, thats the first i've heard of that in NZ. this makes me wanna go celibate, dont wanna be splashing cash on Chaturbate/OF... but the alternative of finding a new partner and leaving the kids without a home is not an option.
The problem with HSV-1 (oral) and HSV-2 (genital) is that it's estimated that a vast majority (around 80%) of people who have contracted herpes never learn they have it because they never exhibit symptoms in their lifetime. In theory, you, I or anybody in this forum already has it and we won't ever know we do. When you do have it, the symptoms lasts a few days and then lies dorman in your nervous system and you don't know when the next flare up will be, if it ever does happen. Blood tests are unreliable and the only reliable test is a swab of a sore during an outbreak.
I believe it is only transmitted through the blisters. So if you don't develop any symptoms (blisters) you wont transfer it. Really everyone should be aware about it the disease and how to recognize the blisters. Whether you are involved with the sex industry or not. It can be transferred by oral to oral contact, genital to genital contact, or genital to oral contact. A condom will not protect against oral to oral contact... unless you are going to use a dental dam for kissing
Slightly incorrect. You can transmit herpes while asymptomatic. The chances are orders of magnitude smaller when compared to symptomatic transmission but still possible. Hence why the estimate is that over 80% of people with herpes will never know they have herpes. An asymptomatic person can transmit it to a partner and it's possible neither of them will ever exhibit symptoms.
Sure but the chances of spreading are much less. Condoms cannot eliminate the risk of transmission anyway. So there is a risk of catching it even with condoms. But really the point is you should definitely educate yourself on how to identify the symptoms of herpes and avoid sexual contact with those exhibiting symptoms - not just rely on a condom to save you. I'm not sticking my dick in a ladies herpes ridden mouth with or without a condom!
As a punter with who has been doing this for many years I am interested in whether across your whole punting career you have ever encountered a WG that exhibited obvious evidence she had herpes? I certainly haven't but then again my sample size is significantly smaller.
