Just consider if you died suddenly. Maybe a heart attack. Boom hit the floor dead. So fast forward to clean up later by family. They have your phone, laptop, desktop. Punting spreadsheet. Life is all about taking risks. My guess is if that happened to me, you can be sure that my wife would be happy when she inherits all the wealth in my estate. For eg. she knows I have a very large stock investment portfolio and that i've never ever mentioned to her the size of the account (because it changes so greatly from year to year). She may have a rough idea... but it's well large enough that she and both of our children will never have to see a day in life having to work.

I will be dead, so not sure I will be too worried by that stage, or suffer from too much embarrassment or humiliation.

And if all my dirty laundry came out and my reputation was trashed, well it would only be those people that knew me. And when they died no one would be any the wiser.

So enjoy living, cover your tracks, but don't worry about things you can't control and will know nothing about anyway.

Sexually, i'm meeting my needs and wifey is meeting her needs financially. Her primary focus is on our children's well being. Nearly 20 years married is a great milestone and i'm glad that if I die, all of my wealth will go to her. We know each other that long for which we have no interest in finding a "significant other". Of course there is never any certainty what each of us could do or what would happen to us in the long term future; ie thinking if a man walks into her life if I died.
