I’m interested to see what others’ views are on this.

Let’s say for example you have met someone through a friend and connected with them on social media, but have had limited/minimal contact since and the meeting happened a while ago. Later you find out that this person does sex work and catches your interest, in fact you actually found this girl attractive since you met.

Would you consider booking a session with them?

You absolutely need to disclose up front who you are and how you know her.

You risk her turning you away at the door if she recognises you. Given most SW's don't disclose to family/friends their job having a customer that may know mutual acquaintances is high risk to her.

If you let her know and if she still wishes to see you, all good then.

I think the likelihood for discomfort on the part of one or both parties is far too high ... if not in the moment, then later, perhaps in the presence of the third party who is a mutual friend.
WGs adopt a pseudonym and alter their personality in order to keep distance between their private and professional life.
Booking someone you know potentially circumvents that.
Better to have a little insulation of separation between real life and punting for everyone involved.

Hookers are best left as a professional transaction without any personal connection or it'll turn out awkward or worse 😩 I've had a few connections turn up over the years, a woman and brothel owner I used to see about 30 years ago turned out to be my bosses sister, another young 18 year old girl I saw a few times around 20 years ago who had a penis fetish and would like to do 1hr long BJ sessions with no sex and her clothes on turned out to be a close friend of one of my mates daughters, there's been a few others that have connected to people I know, it's all too close for comfort
