The spam, filnally all deleted

Last a few days the spam was everywhere and quite annoying.
Admin finally deleted them all. Thanks a lot.

Someone said it has got virus snd someone guessed it is from AF.

Regardless, I hope it doesn't come back. I don't want to see tomorrow morning it has come back and put everywhere.
I found someone worked hard about 4am. I thought it could be someone in the otherside of the world.

What I would like to know is what measures have been put in place to prevent easy new registrations and the spamming that these scums do?

Another SPAM has attacked again.

Why can't new registered members be limited to 1 post per day or if it can be vouched by an existing long time member, then they can do more posts. Or at least have a vesting period for 1 week, 1 post per day?

When the sale of the forum happens, im sure the new owner can get some help moderating the site which should help reduce the amount of spam.

That's a good idea.
Initially one per day posting with two to three relying.
Then with building up careers, it can be given more rights sort of things, bit complicated though.

xenforo has built in systems to require a new user to have their first post approved.
this basically eliminates all spam when turned on.
but that checkbox hasn't been ticked

Sexforum admin has taken a step back for quite a while. Maybe they didn't bother with that setting as it might have been too high maintenence for them.

With moderators and the new ownership model as you mentioned this could be an easy win to improve the experience with the forum.
