Hi all,

Hope you're having a good start to the week!
I'm a 29 y.o. guy who's planning a solo visit to your beautiful country to hike and do some wildlife photography in the middle of next month. Always been a dream to do Milford Sound and finally have the opportunity to do so! I'm a dual US-Canadian citizen and have spent time punting (or "mongering" as we call it in NA) in both countries, and generally use agencies in the Toronto, Montreal, and NYC areas.
I'm looking to try out some of the kiwi talent during my trip- spending a day or two in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch respectively. Was wondering if any posters would be able to answer a few basic questions about girls and the sex scene here? My age interest is 19-27 year old (30 being basically a hard stop, university girls preferred) and ethnicities preferred are White Euro, Middle Eastern, Indian (maybe Maori ttoo haha, haven't seen too many in North America)

1. How open are girls to BBBJ in NZ? In many Canadian agencies (and Asian agencies in the USA) its a standard practice, but I've read in some other forums that in NZ and Australia its not standard at all. For me BBBJ is basically a must do (not all girls back home do CIMSW without tip though) so was wondering if this was true and whether its a cultural or legal difference.
2. Do the agencies usually require verification or deposit for first time clients? Not all the websites post this information and haven't decided on girls to book yet
3. Is it possible to negotiate bare/video taping in the extras for agency girls? It isn't that common but I've had success in both Canada and the US depending on the person. Have heard things are much more strict down under but would appreciate a confirmation
4. What is the sugar/seeking scene like for short term travelers? I heard the economy is not great in NZ so if the agencies don't have much new talent or BBBJ girls I might try that as a backup, but it will be difficult with my travel schedule.

Really appreciate input from you all- if anyone is planning on visiting Canada or the States please reach out to me and I'm happy to recommend agencies, spas, etc.

Hi Rocky,

Hope you have a good time in NZ.

As you are probably aware, sex work has been decriminalised in NZ for over 20 years. This makes the landscape quite different from, in particular, the US. My view is that it's very positive for everyone - punters don't need to be stress about legal implications and, on the other side, if there is trouble a girl can call the police. In fact, one girl I see from time to time told me that she once had a client who was a cop. He gave her his card and told her to call if anyone gave her any trouble. Non-residents (many, but by no means all, of the Asian girls) can not do sex work legally (just as it's illegal for any non-resident to work outside what their visa allows), so unfortunately they have less protection from the law.

The law specifies that sex work should be done with protection. You will find some debate on what exactly that should mean, but in general, don't be surprised if most kiwi girls block you immediately for even asking questions about n*tural services, including BBBJ. Personally, I think it's good that the law gives the girls more power to say no. In other markets, as you note, there can be quite a lot of pressure for n*t services. In the Asian market, you'll find VIP used as a euphemism, but as with GFE, the details can vary wildly.

Since sex work is not illegal, verification is not a thing at all and deposits are rare.

I have no experience with the sugar scene, but I think there are some threads about it somewhere...

Good luck with your trip! Read through the reviews and ask questions about things that attract your interest.
