The thing that genuinely messes with my mind is this:
There is a subset of the community here who are constantly harping on that Asians and Asian operated agencies are constantly bait and switching, and how they don't like it etc ... yet these people keep going back, often to the same agencies or individual ads.
I mean how many times do you have to get stung, at least in your opinion, before you start to examine your own life choices?
None of that to say that any of these women, or agencies, are actually doing anything untoward, because there are a lot of people who think that their powers of observation comparing still images and flesh and blood people are more developed than they might really be.
Also I have zero experience of that side of the industry, so I have no firm opinions either way.
Maybe they are dodgy, maybe they're not.
I'm not shitting on your choices of what you're into, different strokes for different folks and all, you like what you like.
But surely at some point it becomes a bit of a 'fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me' situation?

I don't think it's useful to speculate too much, but from my small sample of girls I've discussed this with:
1. Obviously the house or the motel handler take a cut. Amounts around 1/3 is what I've heard from girls working in houses here in ChCh. I've no experience with these girls that get shuffled between motels.
2. There will probably be a fee to have their trip arranged, since most can't just arrive and start arranging their own accommodation and adverts. And obviously there are travel costs. So they most likely dohave a debt.
3. Some residents do work in various establishments where point 1 applies. Others do their own thing, just like private non-asian kiwi girls.
4. Some may have debts unrelated to SW. But they are doing SW to pay if off. Otherwise they are accumulating money to support their family, inject cash into their business back home, pay off their apartment, or fund their retirement.

These sort of considerations apply in other places too. For example, I've come across Thai girls in Hong Kong who go there short term (visa free for a week or two, I believe). Some seem essentially independent (though obviously there are steep rentals on the 141 walkup rooms they work in. Some have bosses who they have to contact when a customer comes in and out. In one case, I had difficulty negotiating extra time (for extra money) as she said the boss might get angry if it was too long between her messages. I gather girls like her get the trip arranged and have to pay off quite a bit of debt to start earning...

Yes. It puzzles me too. I tend to go for a while between punts, partly cost, partly that it uses up time and is somewhat tiring (joys of getting old...). So when I do punt, I want a good experience. It would be different if I were punting twice a week, or doing a binge in Asia for a few days. In that case, if it doesn't work out you can try again immediately, or in a few hours. I can see the attraction in the chase in those cases.

Anyway due to my current risk aversion, I've not been B&S'd for a long time, and all my punts are with Asians. But I avoid motel girls with handlers and stick to houses where the boss is reasonably reliable or to independents with some reviews (or who I've already seen).

Punters like myself keep going back because... It's NEVER the same girl each week AND there exists the working girls that are genuine gems. After a while when you do build up a regular list and know they move around NZ, you can expect to see them again when they tour around. SO it's not at a loss that a large % of them are B&S. It's more like going shopping for anything else in life. Like a new fridge or dish washer, you learn which brands and models to stay away from and which ones are better.
