I have a pee pee and pay SWs.
Sometimes I also have conversations with them to about situations that they face and how their businesses work.
Then instead of telling them how to run their shit, I listen and learn, because I like to know things that I didn't already know.
That wasn't a criticism of a punter, it was pointing out the half dozen reasons why the idea was flawed at the core.
I suspect that GeryElmo is actually well meaning when he makes suggestions, but he clearly hasn't thought them all the way through before letting everyone in on his ideas.
He has also shown a bit of a propensity in the past to ignore or attempt skirt around information that SWs have told him, on the open forum, about why his ideas are perhaps not workable.
It isn't a negative thing to point out why an idea is not a good one, that is how bad ideas are stopped and how good but flawed ideas are improved on.
What kind of bullshit snowflakey attitude is it to rail against that?
I dunno what it was like when you were growing up.
But back in the 80s when I was a kid it was totally normal for parents, schools and society to tell kids to think about a thing before they did it, and to work it out for ourselves with regards to problems, without their input.
That set me up with the skills required to work shit out, and to see problems and flaws ahead of time instead of running into the problem then having to try and work out a solution while under duress (which more often than not ends with suboptimal results).
Did your parents, or education not teach you to think critically about things?
