1 hr = 40 mins?

It is what it is. What are you going to do? Lay a complaint with Consumer NZ ? Or Advertising Standards Authority ? đŸ¤£
You’re paying to cum then talk. How fast she gets you off is a two way street.

I've been at this for decades and nothing has changed or gotten worse in the last 5 or more years.

It is all quite reasonable unless you're trying to convert a 15 min quickie into a 30 min booking.

Most SWers? Down to the second? As little work as possible?

Sir, this is not 1975 and it is not the Ministry of Works.

We are all different and have unique perspectives. I think if we have enough experience from our previous punts we should be familiar with our time management. E.g washing up, chit chat, main event and take this into consideration with our booking length.

When I meet someone for the first time I usually book an hour as I like to relax and take my time. Generally I rarely feel rushed and I dont look or think about the clock at all. Although once the booking has finished I will have a look at the time to see if I was over/under or about right.

I will take this into consideration when deciding if I will book with the lady in the future. Although the number 1 factor is if we click and if I had a fun time.

Its a shame when bad clients ruin things for the kind respectful ones. 30 minutes is really taking the piss, I can't even imagine how someone could spend that long after the booking has finished.

I have found agencies are stricter with time compared to independents. It is always a nice little bonus when you get a little bit of extra time after the booking for a quick chat to help build up a small connection.

@Browntail this was never going to go well for you.

If you had an instance that wasn’t just standard for example; not starting on time due to someone else’s timing issue or waiting ridiculous amount of time following a shower. There are times I’ve thought the hustle a bit much but you got to pick your battles.

There are things that could be down to agency or a SWers poor management. Then you got to make a call whether it’s worth the arse ache saying something at the time.

Leaving it wide as you did no one can tell. A lot of it you have some control over.

I’ve found that if it has been an enjoyable experience that time and $/minute is less of an issue.

Back to my original question (especially at an agency): how is my shower part of the SW's time? Surely we could sort paperwork with reception, have a shower and the hour starts the second the SW comes in to the room of a freshly showered client?

And yes I know I can't change the industry and obviously have to accept how things have been, but as a fairly new punter, I'm just curious.

Also, to be totally clear, I have never raised this as a concern with any SW or agency

It is standard for YOUR shower to be part of the time you have booked for.
It has been for years, if not decades, as far back as I can remember (and I'm old enough to remember a time before the 21st century).
You want a different answer, so that you can feel justified in holding an unrealistic expectation.
But sadly for you, you're not going to get an answer that you like from anyone who hasn't already expressed the same unrealistic view as you.

There is no agency or indie SW in New Zealand who is going to give you a free 5-10 minutes in order for you to have a shower, they aren't going to give you a free few minutes in order to have a get to know you chat, they're not going to give you a few free minutes to cover the time it takes for you to shower at the end.
If you try to cut the shower short in order to 'get your money's worth' you will be judged as not showered properly and invited to shower again (properly this time) which will take up even more of the time that you are paying for, or invited to leave, probably not with all the money you paid at the start as you get charged some 'time waster tax' (justifiably).

Again dude, as one guy to another, these women are not running a charity, they're not doing it because they just find us all irresistible, they're doing it as a job in order to make ends meet, nothing that is worth it in this life is free.
So just pay for the bloody hour, be a good boy and accept that part of that time is taken up with things that aren't fucking, and enjoy the experience that you are paying for instead of concentrating on the seconds hand on your watch .

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. @Browntail you were more specific but your are on a hiding to nothing.

May not helpful to you but can’t be any more unhelpful than some of the dribble you got so far. I also find that 60min can feel rushed depending on location.

SWers have provided advice in multiple forums and socials on how to make them comfortable first booking. They go on and on a bit check you have missed something.. May speed things up from cash to bed.

Read through here you may find a theme of places with timing issues. Some places are managed better than others.

The longer the booking smaller the percentage downtime is that may cure your hurt. Less bookings I think is better than feeling rushed. Check ads as I have seen some offers at the 90min rate.

The grass isn’t always greener, if you see someone more than once things can flow better.

Learn to keep track of time yourself you can get hustled, somedays it’s endearing others it’s annoying.

Chances of getting your 60min = 60min are slim to none.

That is the time spent in the room.
At agencies and brothels they have to keep track of which rooms are occupied and how long for and juggle many different bookings of different lengths across a limited amount of rooms.

As someone who did my time doing that job, it makes it very difficult when fellas drag their feet getting out of the second shower because it's "off the clock" in their mind. In my mind, the one juggling all the different rooms and bookings, I need you out at the time you're expected to be out.

At any kind of shared space in sex work it becomes impossible to not factor in the shower time for the booking because some folks take 5min and some time 15min. This would wreak havoc on a busy Saturday night shift when there's a steady flow of bookings coming in.

I have had plenty of asian bookings (I only punt Asians and the occasional south american) that shower is not included in the booking time In fact most of them

If im doing a 20 minute booking the 20 minutes will start from when I hand the girl the Cash then once the 20 minutes is up I go and shower.
Some of my Asian regulars will even go a little overtime

This is not rare with Asian girls at all as long as the girl is not busy and has no bookings after you

Interesting thread.
I get that we are buying time and an hour or 30 minutes includes paperwork, small talk, and showering. This may not work for a busy agency with shared bathrooms but would an independent giving a "free" 5 minutes at the beginning of a booking encourage some clients to have a proper wash rather than some half arsed quick splash?
