I've been. It wasn't my thing. Too much in-your-face blatant pushing of sex, too much fakeness, too many sleazy punters drooling everywhere.
It's an experience and I can see why guys like it, but yeah... nah.
I did love the vibe of the place, but it's not my style of punting.

100%. A massive meat market full of questionable quality overpriced offerings.

One night, I went for a walk, it was kinda so overly hyped and pushy that I despairingly retired back to the hotel bar for a few drinks - and ended up hooking up with a fun Welsh saleswomen who was not hot looking but was a heap of fun and had a charming dry wit that was so refreshing after the endless "ooooh, you so handsome - sucky dick?" of outside.
I did enjoy the way she casually said after a few drinks "Look, lets compare our room attributes, since we're both going to be sleeping in one of them tonight"
 
I think you guys are gonna find out that quality is not cheap anywhere.

Thailand has a pretty high tourist price floor compared to nz. You aren’t gonna find Erin’s special for a hour there with someone who’s a 10/10. That’s why there is so much supply.
 
Thailand is crazy. Been quite a few times mostly BKK. I usually avoid the chaos. use thaifriendly, meet up for a drink or direct to my room. venture out occasionally to find something interesting or variety. Agree quality doesnt come cheap, however you get good value for money, rare scams, definitely no B&S. only once had a bad service in 10 or 11 visits.

Usually take a month's TF subscription, downloand Line app. Line is commonly used in TH. add your line id onto your TF profile. and 'show interest' in and send messages to whoever you like. ask for their Line. working girls will reach out to you for sure. plenty of girls there, both SW or regular office working girls working part time for fun and extra money offering hourly, nightly or holiday gfe.
