Best phone plan providers

Im thinking of changing my mobile phone plan to a difrent provider ( rocket mobile looks enticing) main thing im intrested in are unlimited data and MMS
If anyone has anny recommendations id really appreciate it

I use the $40 per month Rocket plan and can recommend them. The unlimited data is great. And it's not 'unlimited' like others where you get throttled after a certain threshold.

That said, a word of caution... It's hard to call US numbers with them for some reason.

Not sure if it's isolated incident, but it failed to connect through for me 3 times, so I just download an app to do the work instead.

There is not much between providers. You just gotta make sure you are comparing apples with apples. They make it hard to cut through the baloney. Look at VM retrieval, mms, speed, how overage is treated, rollover included, 28 day plan or monthly. Just a few of the things to look out for. And is you are currently with Spark you must give 30 days notice.

Does it support roaming when you travel abroad? I use mighty mobile $40 unlimited data plan. I think it doesn’t support roaming. But to use within NZ it’s quite good. It uses One NZ network infrastructure.

Yep used it in Aus last year with no issues. Looks to have a pretty wide roaming network according to their website

Some of Rockets low end plans looks like they are speed limited.
Its $70 before you hit max speed.
$35 per month is limited go 10 Mbps.
I see they recommend $45 per month 40 Mbps.
From what I can see it's a prepaid product they say they are using One Network

I have the rocket mobile "rocket starter plan". That's the lowend basic plan. I pay $28 when it's advertised at $30 because I've been on it awhile. When I first signed up it was $25 a month for unlimited data which was crazy cheap and unheard of in NZ. It's not very fast but it is usable, I can watch YouTube on it and shit. Its capped at 2Mbps and has unlimited NZ/Aus calls and texts. I use wifi 95% of the time so just wanted a cheap unlimited data plan when I'm on the move so works perfect for me. Only downside is if you want to sign up you have to wait for fhem to mail you a sim. Can't just buy them in the supermarket.
