Like the title says.
Just got back from the gym to be told that I have a free night.
Instantly my mind is like "wooo hoo" then the second thought "awwww damn, my regular is on a break, and she is a hard act to follow".
Is this one of those Alanis Morrisette ironic moments?

In the end I made to boring but fiscally responsible decision to save my money and wait for my regular to come back from her break.
The more I thought about it, the more I knew that while the service would be fine, it wouldn't hold a candle.
Sorry mate, I know that helps you not at all.

Good call I reckon more 💴 squirrelled away for the next.

Missed opportunities are crap. I get impatient specially when I get a late cancel. Slowly learning to just wait something always comes up.

Late cancellations without any help finding a replacement really grind my gears the most thought.

There are still a few ladies that I would like to see. I have saved their contact details down and the service that I'm interested in. If I get a late cancel I will try and message one of them to see if they are free. Or I can save the cash for a punt later in the week if I feel like making a booking.

Although eventually there will be a time where I will make a repeat booking with someone local, when I have seen the independents that pique my interest.
