Welcome to 2025, SF'ers! We’re excited to kick off the year with some great updates and reminders for you. Let’s dive into what’s new:
Server Upgrades
Since the start of the new year, we've been working hard behind the scenes to upgrade our servers and perform some essential website maintenance. Unfortunately, our email system was not functioning during that period, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Fear not! Everything is up and running again, and we hope you’ve noticed the improved loading speeds of the forum, which we believe will give you a better experience moving forward.
Sensitive Content
We’d like to take this opportunity to address sensitive or inappropriate comments once again. Please refrain from mentioning services such as not using protection or sharing specific addresses of Sex Workers on the forum. We’ve been very lenient as to not giving out immediate bans in hopes we may provide users the freedom to share their experiences, but we kindly ask that you do not take advantage of this privilege. We want to remind you that violating these guidelines can result in serious consequences, including legal issues or even the shutdown of our platform.
This will be the final reminder: Posts with sensitive topics will be edited or removed without question. Repeated offenders will face a permanent ban from the forum. If you notice any users mentioning such content, please report them to us, and we will take action.
Spam Bots
We understand that spam bots have been a nuisance, particularly with malicious links being posted on our forum. We hear your frustrations. Spam bots remain an issue, but we’re relying heavily on the community’s feedback to spot and deal with these malicious links. At this stage, we are encouraging new members to join. Restricting posting for new members could make it more difficult to identify genuine users or interfere with their early participation on the forum. By relying on your reports, we are able to catch malicious links and act on it almost immediately. That being said, we have never stopped looking for better ways to tighten our security and implement better bot detection tools. We hope you understand and thank you for your continued support in reporting these links.
