The top NZ Euro women on NZG are almost exclusively NOT on the DND list.

I have no interest in visiting Asian providers, so have no idea how many profiles are DND.

Provider participation on AF was already in decline when community moderators were appointed. Initially this was to cover after hours and weekends, but Mr AF’s apathy led to rampant job growth and the acquisition of further powers, culminating in a slew of evictions (bans) predicated on nothing more than moderator antipathy towards the poster(s)

Amber was a terrible choice as moderator. Mr AF must have thought she was an industry doyen, but the really was that she was barely on the periphery of provider networks, and neither liked, nor trusted, by those at their core - who basically ostracised her.

Neither could she differentiate between circumstances where she was acting as forum moderator, and when she was merely participating as an AF member. So she moved the goalposts, or changed hats, to suit her whatever agenda, or vendetta, she was running at the time.

Her frequent ‘Hi Di Hi’ type efforts to invigorate ‘life’ into the place were laughable, and only elicited responses from the saddest of the sycophants.

With regard to the DND, I would much rather they just fronted up and said it’s there to protect their less reputable advertisers, rather than regurgitating the same specious bullshit about provider safety.

It does matter if attacking people's reviews ends up putting off people from participating, and this forum ends up being just a tiny group of regulars chasing everyone else off. That's why everyone needs to knock it off with the "this review sounds fake," or "Hi [SW name]" replies to review threads.

You do have a point, some of us are a bit overzealous and overly skeptical. I certainly have been a lot of the time. We should really give new reviewers the benefit of doubt and I do try to go easy and encourage newer ones most the time. But on the other hand when you do read a review that is so excessively positive and presents a sex worker as beyond reproach and flawless it does make you skeptical. Sex workers do write fake reviews after all or get their fellow working girls or partners to write them. Regardless the overly positive ones are hardly a review anyway. When I read them there is absolutely no information that I can use upon which to make a decision on whether to book the worker or not. Really they are more of a love letter or a statement of adoration rather than a review. I signed up here because I thought this is where I could read escort reviews, not escort love letters.

I mean come on guys there has been some reviews on here that were clearly fake such as that Emma one and we have jumped on it. We only really learned about it after accusing it of being fake. Then there have been real ones that we have incorrectly accused of being fake. I think balance is the thing we really want to strive for here, instead of just creating AdultForum 2.0. This forum has been consistantly growing and becoming more active so we must be doing something right.

And another thing, it is the dirty, funny, real reviews that is bringing all the traffic, not the boring PG love letters.

I tend to agree.

The DND list looks overblown but it has years of history. Most are probably long gone. New providers enter the industry and aren't DND. I too don't see Asian providers.

The dashboard at AF is full of irrelevant threads; games, eye candy porn, etc (God knows why ...). Take all that out and it becomes pretty sparse.

There is far too much detail in some of the AF reviews .. literally pages. They read more about the OP than they do the providers. I don't care how it was tough getting across town in traffic!

Punters who put ALL the booking detail in disenfranchise the SWer because a lot of offerings may be bespoke and confidential.

I agree about Amber as moderator.

We are definitely better than we were. The Anastacia post is the only recent one that comes to mind when we went a bit overboard lol

So looking at the DND list most of the profiles on there seem to have been taken down, and a lot of the names sound Asian. But don't forget they have taken down many reviews on girls who weren't even on the list, so the number of names on the DND list is probably only a small fraction of the reviews they have deleted/shut down.

Funny enough a lot of the names on there are probably bait & switch profiles so that means AF is protecting and supporting B&S by preventing you from writing about it.

Before finding this forum when I wanted to book an escort I used to go on AF and look for a review. Most the time there never was one, but then if there wasn't I used to check the DND list and see if the girl was on there - if she was it was a red flag for me so I just assumed it was a B&S. But I realize now some girls just prefer to go DND because they don't want the anxiety of worrying about getting a bad review.

But I suppose at the end of the day sex workers are providing a service, and as any business owner knows, getting reviewed is just part of business these days - bad reviews and all. A good review can literally bring you customers (hence such an incentive to write fake/bias reviews) whereas a bad one can lose you customers. But if you do get a bad review how you handle it really matters, you are able to respond. Having DND is like google allow businesses to prevent people from placing reviews on their ads. So I don't really see much of an argument for DND.

I definitely see why AF/NZG has DND though, they are just protecting their cash cow.

So it looks like AF has finally updated its Forum user interface. I still prefer the style and simplicity here though.

However the culture and DND of AF still won't change. Last night I read the whole "sugar baby" thread written by Starlord. The amount of flak and hostility he got was shameful. Even the admin of AF was calling him an arsehole amongst other things, which wasn't a good look for him. They deleted some of his posts and to be honest I am shocked they didn't just ban him. He should have started the thread over here instead.
