Just been noticing how a few agency girls are also working privately.....which is great and all power to them. Just wondering why they end up charging more though when they work independently considering they don't pay agency fees etc. Understand they have some advertising costs and accommodation but you would think a couple of bookings would make up for all of that? Maybe someone knows the answer?

I don’t really get it but my advice is just go fuck them at the agency
It’s great feeling like you had her for less than she wanted privately. That extra hundred bucks was money left in your wallet

I think costs through an agency and independently are almost the same if not more with advertising (this is why their ad are not always up). Except, they now have to do their own admin which is time consuming. Their hours are more flexible too so they may be driving more often to their work location for one booking or more. That could add more travel costs. I have seen a few where the base is higher than agency price but their extras are reduced in price. The reasons to go independent is to be able to charge more so you could potentially earn more money and/or do less bookings per week, follow your own rules + more flexibility in your hours.

I would imagine it would different reasons for each workers. From the admin side of the industry, I think it is more than fair for them to charge more. The receptionists combined hours alone at iEscape is about 98hours/week. As you might be able to imagine not all interactions with clients are easy .... only receptionists/ independent workers can truly understand how hard the admin work is and how challenging it can be. Not to mentioned the extra costs (for everything) on top of the extra hours they put into their "brand".

Independent work is a tough gig. They have to work longer hours, they have to look after themselves more with discipline and they have to take more risks.

All respect and adoration towards independent workers xx

It's mostly been said but I'll add my perspective anyway!

A few reasons.
1. Touring is expensive.
Hotel rooms, advertising, travel costs are all a given but there's so many smaller things that add up. Feeding yourself without access to a full kitchen for one, general supplies top ups etc. Also, I think at the rates I have set for myself that it's appropriate to be well presented and groomed, so this is staying on top of nail appointments, hair appointments etc.

2. The market.
Many gents have said themselves that they only look at girls above a certain price point in an effort to avoid a B&S or similar scam. Whatever the market does around us, we have to move with it. When I first started, my rates were lower but so were everyone else's for the most part.

3. It feels worth it.
Being away from home for three nights a week, three times a month can kind of suck! I miss my bed, I miss my cat and dog, I miss being in my own space. It's important to me that what I earn is enough to justify being away from home and creature comforts to me. Also, I want to feel good about myself and my rates and so I try to find the sweet spot between being realistic and the market, but also being like "yeah, I feel good about receiving X amount for Y service."

4. Quality over quantity
I find having my rates at a certain level allows me to filter out some folks that I wouldn't personally consider a quality client. Not to say that those with less disposable income are lower quality, what I mean is that a gent who's looking to get as much as possible for the least amount of money is already approaching our time together in a way that I don't usually vibe with.
