There needs to be a robust system in place to detect and remove attempts to use the site for advertising without compensating the site for the exposure.

It's one thing for an individual SW to do that and totally another for an agency to do the same. Hypocritical when said agencies complain about cheap, haggling, and/or deadbeat punters lol.

Not going to name anyone but some (not many) of the community seem to be de facto advertisers for agencies that manage to do so without paying for it.

I agree, I find it distracting reading posts and having a link posted that has no context to the conversation. As for Some of the community that are low key advertising- that’s harder to police I suppose

Agree advertising by a well known agency. The post in question has already been removed , doubt they will make the same mistake again.

Why do you care.
The people that run the site don't, otherwise they'd do something about it.
I also think that it is a strange double standard when you say it is ok for independant workers to do a bit of free advertising here, but if establishments do it that is not ok.
What, do you think indies don't complain about "cheap, haggling, and/or deadbeat punters"?
Because that was your complaint about establishments advertising.
I hate to break it to ya, they have the same complaints, as they deal with the same clients.
So does that mean that if an indie complains about those things that they all of a sudden should also not be allowed free advertising on here?

Realistically, I see 'free advertising' on here many days of the week.
Why do you think that ladies like Sahara, Tara Blake, etc respond on here the way that they do?
A hint, it is because they are trying to drum up business.
Also, it ain't free, it will take up time to formulate posts that get all the blokes here excited, and time is money.
(no shade ladies, I think your strategy is really good).

But ultimately, if the operators of the site are concerned they''ll do something about it.
So I can't quite fathom why you care, just skip on from a thread that bothers you, if establishments getting 'free advertising' is such a worry to you.

The operators of the site do care given that the offending post was removed.

I support the site and want to see more uptake on the paid advertising options that are offered. It's fine to decline that offer but it's another thing to run an advertisment anyway. The site would not exist without the money and time that is put into keeping it running as an alternative to AF (which is well funded given that it is connected to the #1 escort directory).

You're reading way too much into what was an aside comment and missing the more important issue about revenue.

Again.
Why are you concerned?
Are you paying for the site to exist?
That'sthe crux of what I'm saying.
Let the people that are paying for the site to exist worry about policing it, as it is a them problem, not a you problem.

The other part was perhaps reading into it, but the way you worded it made it seem like it was an important thing.

Anyways, said my piece ... moving on.
Have a great day.
