Cash costs supermarkets (bank handling fees, transport costs, security) so they usually like to give it out, same with any large cash handling place including the TAB as mentioned earlier. Those are good ideas as an alternative to ATMs.
Simply depositing money into your TAB account and then trying to withdraw it as cash at a TAB branch will be declined. The TAB only allows you to withdraw cash at a TAB branch once you have accumulated winnings post that deposit, where those winnings are at least equivalent to the amount you are seeking to withdraw.

I'm surprised WGs aren't more interested in crypto. Some international touring providers accept it. Has anyone use this Osko / Beemit that the Australians use? What's that like?
Why would they want pretend scam money that can't be used to pay for rent, put petrol in their cars or, God forbid, buy some groceries?
Crypto is a scam.
Look at the number of times a crypto currency has actually turned out to be a pump and dump set up by some already wealthy turd as a way to swindle the last few cents out of the poors.
They want cash, because you can actually use cash for day to day things.
If we ever go cashless in this country, the SWs will just start using some form of payment app that transfers money from your bank account to their bank account ... so that they can keep using the earnings from their job to pay for daily needs.

That more often than not ends up being a pump and dump scheme where all your profits 'suddenly' disappear when the rich people have swindled all the real money that they can out of the desperate poor people (who think that the crypto scam is somehow different than all the other scams) and pull their money out collapsing the crypto currency.
A thing that regularly happens.
Pretty sure that the SWs prefer real money, not notional currency, for the real service that they provide.
Which they can use to pay for the real world things that they need, instead of funding Elon Musk's weird Mars based breeding cult.
That's why they bump uglies with all the gargoyles here (me included by the way) in the first place, it is a job not a charity or gambling opportunity.

Any wg accept payment in the likes of prezzy cards? You can purchase on afterpay. Essentially they can use these cards like a regular card to make purchases at any store.
I have never put a cent on Crypto, therefore never fucked up and lost money on it, dude.

I don't gamble, especially when the house is so obviously set up to be the only winner.
Also, I can smell bullshit a mile away, and crypto definitely has the scent of a dairy farm.

Hint for you, it's pretty much always going to be a preference for cash, with a back up of bank transfer.
If we ever go cashless, then most will simply require bank transfer, not prezzy cards, not crypto currency, or any of the other things.
I don't see banks ever accepting prezzy cards as mortgage payments. I don't see landlords ever accepting prezzy cards as rent payment.
Considering one of those are most people's largest expense, and SW is a job so that they earn funds to pay for things, that seems like a bit of a problem, wouldn't you say?
The other issue of course is that SWs for the most part want to remain incognito.
If they all started taking prezzy card as payment, how long do you think it would take for word to spread through out the country that if someone is paying for hundreds of dollars worth of stuff, every day or two, with prezzy cards, that they are probably a SW (or drug dealer/nefarious actor trying to hide their income).
When that happens there goes the ability to remain incognito.
Then there will start discrimination. And probably an inability for anyone to buy hundreds of dollars of stuff with prezzy card, because all the businesses won't like the optics of 'enabling sex work' and will place limitations on the use of prezzy card.
Some of which is already a problem with banking institutions and the like (at least overseas from what I have heard).

NZ will only ever go cashless if we allow it, and we are doing it by being sleep walking into it. Stop using your card for purchases under $20. Carry cash as a matter of course. Use cash when at the pub. Seriously, for reasons well beyond paying WG's, it is not somewhere we want to be.
