Hey everyone!
I am amongst many girls that are very unhappy about this change. I had no communication from NZG about it, AT ALL, I was charged for my ad this morning prior to it taking affect and then my number was no longer accessible to clientele once the new system went live. It has cost my business hugely today and it’s only day one, which is concerning.

Just a note to say if you are a punter and are looking for contact details for SWers, please check their websites, escortify and Roladex. This is where most girls will be. We are sorry for this, and are all pretty disappointed about it all.

Fellow workers, please check out Roladex, they are an Australian privately owned advertising agency, and they are offering free advertising at the moment, they’re lovely guys, it would be good to have a classy and supportive replacement for NZG for clients to access.

I hope this will finally bring some good changes that have been needing to happen for quite some time.

The link is there so that someone looking knows that it is the ad/profile that they are looking for.
Separately the contact phone number has also been placed next to it, so that anyone who finds the ad of the the person they are looking for, will still be able to contact without paying NZG for the privilege.
If you are viewing on a phone instead of a PC, someone else said in another thread that you might have to scroll right to see the phone number.
The person who compiled it all was going off Wellington and Chch providers who were advertising yesterday (01/03/26), so if you weren't advertising yesterday, you probably won't be on the list/s.
I don't speak for sexforum obviously, but I'd suggest taking a look to see if your profile/ad and phone number are there, and if not maybe pop in the link for your ad and your contact number (if you want to of course), just be aware that normally there is a prohibition in the terms of service for this website on self-promotion except in the 'Verified Escorts' section.
So it might run afoul of that rule, and I don't want to you have any strife with the admins here, although I'd hope that the site admins here would take into account the extenuating circumstances.
Lastly, I am very sorry that NZG made a decision that has already negatively impacted your business.
 
I suppose more SWers will advertise on Esc0rtify since us punters don't have to pay.

For the NZ market, what is the percentage of Roladex bookings compared to escortify?
I’ve noticed there are only a few providers listed in Welly at the moment
Meanwhile, I just paid the escortify advertising fee yesterday, it has risen a little more than last month.

We are moving from a duopoly to a monopoly, so it is to be expected that Escortify will raise their rates. That they are greedy and stupid enough to do so now, rather than waiting two months until they have vacuumed up most of NZG's advertisers is a timely and useful reminder that they are not a great site either.

Given how few NZ providers are listed on Roladex at the moment, I suspect the percentage of bookings compared to Escortify is very very low. But advertising there is

Tryst.link and Scarlet Blue don't have any free options but they might be worth looking at too.
 
I never go straight to the websites. I always use Google and search for "wellington escorts". It used to always list NZG 1st, Escortify 2nd, and then the rest would vary. Nowadays they all move around, and most often Escortify is 1st. When I did it just now the order is Escortify, Locanto, NZG. I've seen NZG lower than 3rd before too. I don't know if this ordering is personalised for me based on which ones I have clicked recently or reflects aggregate user behaviour.

From the search results I generally only ever visit Escortify and NZG, (and occasionally Locanto). The rest are pretty much a waste of time cos they've either just copied ads from the main ones, or they have very few ads at all.

For any new player to get a foothold, they'll need to get found in Google search results (or other search engines), otherwise how would anyone even know to go to their website?. I'm not familiar with how that process works these days but it's probably a combination of links from other sites and re-ordering the search results based users clicking on it after doing a search. Of course it won't show at all if it doesn't match the text searched for (in my case "wellington escorts"; others will use different search terms).

It's a good idea to spread your advertising dollar (especially if sites are offering free trials) but it won't pay off unless those sites show up in search results.

I think it's pretty newly used here but it should improve with more users. I had an email conversation with them yesterday about improving their SEO's and they are being proactive about actioning this.
Only time and participation will tell! It's free so no harm in trialing it. The more of us that are on there the better it will be!
