It'll be interesting come Monday morning to see if the Christchurch listings fall off a cliff.
I imagine some who only engage with NZG infrequently may not even be aware. There might be a few WTF moments from SWers.
I still can't believe they'll do it, but if you have costs and rely on surety of new clients then I can understand why people are not willing to risk it.

I am not paying NZG a single red cent.
The circle in Christchurch for me is small and regular and for those I might want to see new I make a note of their number anyway.
I have a booking next week with someone who I hope has sufficient regulars (like me) that it won't put her off.

@Escortify . Something Ive always thought would be handy, is being able to 'PAUSE' your ad. For example if we are unwell, really need to take a day off, family stuff or whatever. So the days we have paid for dont go to waste if we cant use them on the days we have purchased.

So does this mean punters will have to pay at least $25 to get phone numbers? That's the minimum (worst-value) option according to the rates of the Membership directory. I have a feeling the board at NZ Girls must be doing this based on the profitability of Only fans and dating apps/websites, and the fact that there are enough male plonkers out there for them to get away with preying on their curiosity. I would say 99% of all the revenue on Only fans comes from male subscribers (and yes, I was as guilty as the rest for a period of time) and well over half the revenue that dating sites get would be from men too, as the most successful ones operate on a freemium model where you have to pay in order to start a conversation. As well know, the vast majority of interactions on dating websites are initiated by men, so women have far less need to pay - if anything they're far more likely to block or ignore messages.
This is just another way of the internet sucking money out of our dicks.

I thought this development might have resulted in a few more providers adding themselves to the ‘verified escorts’ section, on this site.
Sure, a pointer to provider social media (on their NZG listing), could ameliorate much of the effects of NZG’s brain

I'd be willing to pay $25 or some small fee if the profiles were accurate and true to the sex worker. If they can set a strict verification process so B&S does not happen, then I would be be all for paying. NZG could have a feedback response from punters to say the photos and age band does not match and their profile is locked out until rectified.

Certainly not what they have setup or what Escortify has setup. They cheat by having their photos AI photoshopped to look younger. The verification should involve a punter. Perhaps a vetting process where the punter fills out a feedback form which raises the SW's profile to some verified status.
All i'm saying is if they can eliminate the fake listings and provide only genuine profiles that have been through a vetting process. I am more than willing to pay for phone #s knowing that the B&S issue has been addressed.

It would be handy if like when buying a phone we could select multiple SWers to compare side by side.
So much easier making a decision when you can easily compare the features, dimensions and specs of products that interest you.

Setup a feedback system for each profile. When the person meets, they can rate their service and accuracy of their profile and service. AliExpress does this. TradeMe has a feedback comment section. eBay does this too. Why can't the same be done for the profiles? It doesn't have to be forceful. Perhaps maybe a 'star' rating system where a new profile starts at the bottom and works their way up. When men see high star rating girls, the person in the profile has an incentive to keep their profile going, instead of just creating a new one all the time and by changing their names.
If NZG wants to charge a fee to look at the phone #s, that doesn't solve the problem where the profile may be fake or inaccurate. Other than some fancy photos (that are often AI altered and photoshopped), men looking at their service have no other method in making a decision. But if they can solve the problem of ridding misleading profiles, the you will have something worth charging $ for.

This right here! 100%. Who the hell would pay money for false information. It’s annoying as hell getting it for free, to pay for it is ridiculous.
Like SBQ I’d consider paying for verified ads. And if we get b&s’d we should be able to flag that ad and the website that we just paid for should act on our behalf.

UPDATE
They are messaging providers saying they are now going to waive their fees during the 'trial period'. The fact they are messaging people late on a Saturday night when they are usually non-contactable indicates they must be in panic stations mode.
Yesterday I received an email re how they are 'disappointed' with me for creating this thread and alerting everyone to their plans before they could properly explain them bla bla bla. LOL, only my Mom is allowed to be disappointed in me!
But it doesn't matter how they frame it, and what illusion they try to sell us all, simple facts are, its still an absurd idea that will hurt the industry at both ends, and ultimately, its you the punters who get to decide whether to pay the $10 fee every 28 days or not.
I reminded them that its not their job to screen our clients. And that the days of them being able to ban me from AF for openly speaking out about NZG's endless bullshit and fuckery (this happened multiple times btw) are gone, and they now have no control over my right to free speech. In essence my loyalty lies with my community!
The email that I personally received tonight was very different to everyone else's however. They 'fired' me from being allowed to ever advertise with them again.
Which is really no skin off my nose as I had already pulled my ad with no interest in returning after this last tone deaf bag of bollocks confirmed how they continue to put profit over people, and how out of touch they are with what we really want and need from them.
I wonder... would they have done this damage control if their intentions weren't exposed for what they are here pushing their hand. Regardless if it means the community are less effected by their insane antics it was worth it.
