WTF! So they are still implementing it?

It doesn't matter if they waive your fees if they're gatekeeping your clients.

People will just go to the other platform if they are seeking a new provider and are not a regular with you.

People will look straight to the other platform every time. You'll have no business if people don't subscribe or you don't move platforms.

And who will subscribe? A cash based business now needs a credit card or at best you'll have to use work arounds like Prezzy cards! And quite literally overnight with no warning.

What proportion of punters are on here and know about it? They haven't even given the punters a heads up on their own (AF) forum FFS.

I'll be messaging them.

I'd really like to meet the person at the top of NZG just to see what size clown shoes they wear.
The way you've said that they are speaking to you sounds like they are trying to be one of those abusive pimps in 1970s movies, while putting in significantly less effort than they were portrayed as doing.
I think you might be better off without them ... after seeing the response they gave you alone, I have decided to never even browse their website when bored.

Do you actually believe all the crap about them doing this for your benefit ? It looks very much to me like a cash grab. Or possibly readying the sinking ship for a sale. Hope you are reading this NZG. You will never get any money out of me. And I will never again register for your dying Adult Forum.
And it won't hinder my punting. I have enough contacts that I don't need a phone number from NZG.

Thanks for starting the thread, Ava.

Since I have contacts for girls and agencies I've been to before, I've got little reason to pay for numbers over the next few weeks, but obviously, Wellington and ChCh punters who have been considering calling someone should save the phone number today if the advert is up. [Someone with a few more clues than me could probably write a script to pull out all the names and phone numbers and someone with a little more time could simply download all the pages using a browser...]

What worries me is that this move is really going to hurt girls who decide to tour to Wellington/ChCh in the next few weeks, as punters new to them won't have their contacts. As I said above, I've had one touring regular cancel already and I'm now worried that another may also decide not to come.
 
Ava, it takes courage to do as you have done.

You have spoken out against an organisation attempting to use their dominant market position for further enrichment, on some spurious pretext, only for them to respond in typical bully/coward mode, by terminating your business relationship.

I wasn't suggesting you advertise with them, I was suggesting you take a stand and put an end to them doing this to others who might speak out.

There is a reason you cannot engage in anti competitive behaviour, and they have sailed close to the wind for a long time. Nothing will change if people accept it though, and it will need more than a few posts on an online forum to bring about change.

Just depends on how strong your appetite for change is I guess.
