Beyond those who find Japanese women more attractive than other Asians (wrong, it's Vietnamese then Koreans) and have a desire to speak Japanese with them for some weebish reason, I find the complaint a bit bizarre. In the end it's just marketing. Everyone knows that every 'Asian - Other' profile is Chinese, and I suspect that includes whatever Chinese-haters might have been put off if they said 'Asian- Chinese' straight up.

if some girl advertise her as being french then yes i would expect her to speak french. if your mother of great grandfather was from france and you n your parents grown up in nz then you are NZ european.
