Everything costs money.
You can easy spend $20-40k a year on 'lazy' meals - uber eats, cheeky friday night eats and drinks, etc.
Anyone here own a nice boat? Seeing girls is a cheap hobby compared to upkeep on a decent size boat.
Don't look back. If you could afford it at the time, smile at the memories and look forward. If you can't afford what you want to do, find a way to increase your income or make the sacrifices to do what gives you enjoyment.

Punting all the time gets boring. That thrill/excitement/anticipation gets replaced with a routine where you're just going through the motions.

So what's your rate of punting these days?
Start of year was 2x a week! And you're right, it was getting old. Then stopped for a month and now I'm at 3 punts a month. Around 45 mins each sesh.

Brought it down to 1 a week with some exceptions where I see more, or see none. If a profile really catches my eye, I can't stop myself from booking her.
One good thing about getting old, in the context of trying to reduce punting, is that which advanced age comes reduced sex drive. Ten years ago I was compelled to punt twice a week. I did do well to keep my budget to $200 per week, though admittedly there were far more SM options at just $100 for half an hour than there are now. So that was potentially 18 encounters over a 9-week period. Now that I'm in my mid-40s and living a fair distance from the big city, it's not impossible for me to stretch that $200 to 1 hour-long punt every 3 weeks, therefore just 3 punts in 9 weeks. That doesn't mean that I'm not constantly thinking about my next 'hit' though.
I found the same thing. Went cold turkey (cold coozer?) for about 18 months at one stage to re-ignite the flame, and just see if I could go without.
I still do 3-6 month stretches with no punts every so often just to keep myself keen.
