Hamilton has an excellent Sexual Health clinic which is free, you have access to nurses and dr's, free med's, condoms, whatever you need.
I still go back there regularly for checkups

I should say here that Sexual Health Checks are free for anyone in NZ. For non sex workers they may require you to have symptoms before they book you for an appointment with a nurse/doc. But if you have no symptoms you can still just go in and get a "quick check" which is a self test. So you can just go to the toilet there and do the piss test then apparently they give you a form to take to Awanui labs - all for free. You can also get free condoms there.

That reminds me of a story... When I was young I didn't even know about the sexual health clinic. And I was too embarrassed to go to my GP for a sexual health check. So booked an appointment at some other random GP. When I got there I found I was seeing this female Asian doctor that was in her 30s. She wasn't the most attractive but still fuckable. When we did the check she had me sitting butt naked in the edge of the examine bed but with my shirt on. And she was on a chair right in front of me touching my dick with gloves on and her face was like a foot from my dick. I cracked the most magnificent ever. She flinched when it started ballooning up but did her best to remain real professional about it. Was a bit embarrassing to say the least and I'm sure there was a few drops of pre- cum dripping out. Nothing happened but it was an interesting experience none the less
