“I get that you crave the slightly rougher edge because of the entertainment factor, but the opinion on that seems pretty evenly split.
So perhaps the scene is better served by having this place and the other place, and everybody gets to find their groove.”

Well said.

The way so many people live now—dividing into camps, convinced their side is 100% right and the other 100% evil, then hating across the divide—is no way to live at all. It’s poisoned politics, and it’s seeping into nearly every corner of life.

I actually welcome shots fired my way. Deep down, I know they’re rarely completely off-target. That’s one reason I love the poker community: everyone’s welcome at the table, egos get checked hard, opinions are backed by real money, and everything’s ultimately at the mercy of the river god. Virtue-signaling doesn’t survive long when the cards don’t care about your feelings.

Nope, incorrect. I do not see 'clients' who treat me or other providers with distain, disrespect or entitlement. Those types of attitudes are extremely hard to disguise. And usually very easy to pick up on during the initial booking comms, just by how they message us. Instant block for them! NOTE - us independent escorts have direct client contact, agency providers usually do not, which makes this harder as each individual SWr has different boundaries and tolerance levels.

If they managed to slip through screening undetected, and disrespectful, misogynistic or harmful behaviour showed itself during a booking... they would be leaving immediately with no opportunity for negotiation, regardless how much of the booking time has transpired and WITHOUT their money. Actions have consequences. I have actioned this many times in my career both for myself, and when assisting other escorts who were struggling to get these types to leave.

Im not sure why some of you think that we literally just see ANYONE who hits us up. I probably see about 1 out of every 20 people who make contact, which is pretty standard with my peers also. We learn very quickly to identify red flags, and they are usually glaringly obvious.

Never in any exisiting forum will you see anywhere that I have claimed to 'hate clients'. I cant stand incels, sure... whats to like? But like I said... they are NOT my clients. 98% of my actual clients treat me wonderfully, we build fabulous connections based on mutual respect and understanding. Incels are not capable of these traits. Are there exceptions to that stat, on occasion yes, do they get a second chance after being ejected? Fuck No!

Access to us is a privilege... not a right.

Is this an example of the civility we can expect on the other forum? Of course, in regimes where dissent means banishment, people tend to toe the line.

Btw, is “limp-wristed” still a thing? We’re still using homophobic slurs as a casual insult, like we’re still in Intermediate?

BTW, the idea that sex workers “sell their bodies” comes from misunderstanding and stigma.

Sex workers provide a service. They offer time, companionship, intimacy, emotional intelligence, performance, and human connection. They set limits. They give consent. They control their work.

Their body remains in their possession always, and is not for sale. Their labour is.

A plumber doesn’t sell their hands.
A singer doesn’t sell their voice.
A sex worker doesn’t sell their body.

In extreme and illegal situations involving coercion, trafficking, or abuse, people may lose agency over their choices. But that isn’t sex work — that’s exploitation. Those individuals are victims of serious crime, not people “selling their bodies.”

X

No internet forum can exist without bickering, it's just the nature of the internet. Just slap the whale and ride the wave honestly.

If the bickering annoys you, don't engage with it and mute where you need to. That's valid, protect your peace and all that. The severity of it, and intensity of the maliciousness behind it IMO, has definitely chilled over here recently though.

And for the moments where it sparks up again, there's always folks on this forum who can find the humor in gently correcting (making fun of) the particularly egregious takes that are shared.
