Nothing like that has ever happened to me, but this is why I use a burner SIM (eSIM actually), which I only activate when needed. If you guys care about your privacy, this is the least you can do.
Also, most of my punts are managed via WeChаt and Telegrаm. These apps are hidden with a password as well.
Better safe than sorry.

I agree using the burner phone is the best way. But the problem is i'm not known to be carrying 2 phones around in the house hold. HIndsight, better to leave the burner phone away but I was expecting text messages that day so I had to have it on me.

****** & T3legram are great if you keep data on all the time. But Google does a lot of tracking and it's better not to have mobile data on and use the cellular SMS text messaging. But SMS also has issues because the messagees are not often received if they are sent via RCS.

Well, honestly I'm not worried about being tracked by Google or big brother. My only concern is my house hold.
I think of ot as an investment for a piece of mind. For the price of 2-3 punts you can get an eSIM capable phone that solves these kind of problems.
