Venus Room

Sometimes I feel theres a business proposition here. Like if there's just one classy brothel in Christchurch not in an industrial area, with a classy customer receiving and leaving system. Well designed rooms and waiting areas, it would do well.

Like the best we have is EG. Which isn't bad, but the 2 businesses in competition are Venus Room 🙄and Atomic 🤢.

Look, I'll go to VR only because there's no other options and once you get past the shitty intake you're good.
 
I need to venture back to the Venus room.. it’s been a year or so since punts here and they look like they have a pretty decent selection of girls! I’ve always gone to egs but their prices are pretty much the same now.
Who is the best there? Any girls comparable to Macie?

Really? why is that such a big deal? I've been there several times and never noticed that. Yes the place is a bit alternative, privacy is close to none but the girls are great.
At the end of the day it is a fucking brothel not a wellness clinic with a chai late waiting for you at the reception

Agree with this.

I have used The Apartment in Wellington - there is an Auckland branch as well - and find the idea of independent rooms where SWers arrange their own bookings much more appealing.

The best I have found in Christchurch is The Phoenix Rooms in Waltham run by Aurora Dawn.

In all these cases there is no wait, your lady of choice takes you straight through, the rooms are comfortable.

If nothing else the website and presentation of establishments (in Auckland, granted) such as DH and Debonairs are far more likey to get me through the front door than EG, VR, and (never ever again) Atomic.

But I agree there is scope for a Christchurch version of The Apartment, Denonairs, or DH.

Different strokes for different folks is all.
Places are still being run the way they were run in the 1980s. You'd think people would have improved the offerings.

If anything brothels have gotten worse. In the 1980s the typical brothels were garish, dimly lit, with huge art works on the walls, rococo decorations and trimmings, and plush waiting areas. It felt bizarrely charming. What a brothel was perceived to be like.

I am not making an argument for the pre PRA days.

But these days, a bad brothel is austere rooms, bad music, harsh lighting, and filthy showers.

Not everyone wants a modern brothel experience.
