Well, you could worded it differently

Instead of "they're booked", you could say "at present stage, the girl is not available for booking tonight"

I sometimes suspected this was happening when I turned up to a whore house and only one or two girls were presented to me. Thankfully my yellow fever usually prevented me from going through with a booking unless the girl was a smoking hot Asian. I tried not to impulse punt.
