Who is Daok ?

How is it so hard to believe that a guy has a few mil anyway? Was it all from poker? I doubt it, but I don't think he's even claiming that. Personally, gambling winnings aren't very high on the list of things to brag about, but each to their own.

My only real experience with the guy was taking the piss out of him after he posted confessing his love for a hooker and implied she wanted a ticket to his "highlife" like any other girl would. I imagine that narrative is why so many other people seem to hate on him.

There's a whole lot of cringe in that, regardless of him having money or not

This is the front runner for the dumbest post in the short history of this site.
Might as well just get it over with and start posting images to prove who's got the biggest swinging dick.

I don't know man... there have been some absolute shocking threads on this forum. The worst are probably the sexual health education spams. Followed by the angry abusive posts by working girl trolls (trollettes) filled with vile misandrist drivel. To be honest those ones are quite fun though.

There is something that daok is wrong about. Phil Ivey is a better player than Daniel Negreanu. Daniel (no doubt one of the best of all time) would agree too.

It’s very difficult to teach the skills of successful trading, especially when highly leveraged. 95-99% lose and often lose everything. I believe my high-stakes gambling background gives me an advantage over those with a financial education. The same fear and greed that inhabit the poker table are evident in patterns in the markets. You take trades with the highest risk reward, which gives you a positive expectancy (playing strong hands in position in poker), and do it over and over with discipline.

It also helps to have a philosophical attitude towards money. If I played a hand correctly, or placed a trade with the proper risk reward, you wouldn’t be able to tell from my demeanour whether I won or lost a million dollars. I’d be more pissed off if I acted incorrectly and won the million because it means I don’t have a positive expectation in the long run and will inevitably lose. Most people don’t have this mindset, but gambling winners all do.
