To this point, I suppose it's a job interview of sorts. Candidates would be advised to put their best foot forward to stand the optimum chance of securing the role. Guys wanting to avoid being scammed are something like a hypothetical employer being reluctant to pay a worker for a trial interview, when there's a decent chance the candidate has fabricated their CV. As well as their competency to complete the work, or at least to an acceptable standard for the remuneration.
Isn't the idea of a coffee date is to see if you click? You can't expect them to sleep with you just cause you paid for a meet up? I guess if they ask for more coffee dates then that could raise some alarms.

I understand where you are coming from. There is always two sides of a coin. So sometimes your previous trauma could blind you from finding a genuine candidate. I'm sure there are a lot of scammers on there and the same with guys wanting someone who isn't an escort but treating all the girls on there like they are.
