Yes, obviously the word has been reclaimed by the sex-workers, and is used in various ways between us, but those ways are for us, not for non SW's to use against us with demeaning intent like a slur. There is a massive difference.
Similar things happen with certain otherwise offensive words being re-claimed back by certain cultures, and the LGBTQIA+ community etc, where its fine for members of those groups to use certain words, but definitely not appropriate for people who are not part of that group or culture.
Cool, whatever, no moderators, but I really don't think it's asking too much that we don't have to be subjected to that sort of intentional disrespect.

Are you not aware of the concept of reclaimed words Johnny? A reclaimed word is a term that was once used as an insult or slur against a particular group, but members of that group later adopt or repurpose it as a form of empowerment, solidarity, or self-definition.
By reclaiming the word, the group changes its meaning and power — turning something that was once used to hurt them into something that can express pride, identity, or resistance.
So you are correct, its not just about me, I never said it was.

It's always partly luck but also making the correct decision about who you book, the service type/length, how you present yourself, and reading/adjusting to the vibes in the room.

For kissing, my definitions are:
Kissing: open mouth, no tongue.
Light FK: a bit of tongue, which to me means no one is exerting themselves to do it.
DFK: pushing things to their physical limits, with plenty of saliva.
I include LFK as part of my GFE, and some clients have still seen at as permission to go for DFK. In my experience, this means trying to get their tongue *all* the way down my throat and trying to suck mine out of my head in turn. I'm sure some people genuinely like this (power to you) but for me it's increadibly painful and unpleasant experience - especially when they start also trying to bite it off. Oh and lets not forget that move where they try to push an entire mouthful of saliva into yours.....
At one point it got so common I nearly took LFK off the menu, but ultimately putting my prices up solved the issue.
As to GFE definitions. My understanding is that it came about when providers started bundling extras into package deals. If you go way back in the day a booking was HJ, BJ and sex - literally everything else was an extra. But I wasn't around for that, so I'm happy to be corrected
If a particular activity is important to you, check our descriptions of services, and if it's still unclear *please ask.* I get asked all the time, and I promise it's fine. Even when it's explicitly stated in my ad, I'd rather repeat my booking descriptions than have you find out late in the game I don't offer something you like, or that it's an extra.

Yes, I am well aware AvaMIWNLF. There is of course a big difference between minority groups (such as ethnic minorities and the LGBTI) and whores as of course as prostitution is a profession. And of course MOST sex workers in NZ enter that profession willingly.
But that said no one cares what you think anyway AvaMIWNLF, if we want to call whores whores then we will do so. And it does not appear there will be any overbearing moderator to prevent.
Goodness gracious just imagine what this forum would be like if we had to abide by the rules as defined by the whore AvaMIWNLF...

Yup thats exactly how it was Ms E. The advent of the GFE, PSE etc descriptors are a fairly recent historical additions to the scene.
For quite some time when they first came about in the early 2000's, there seemed to be a general common understanding about what activities came under those umbrella terms, and what counted as extras etc, but with the rise of there being so many more indy's now, and how trends in porn effect the market, I think it broadened things considerably and providers put their own interpretations and spins on things depending on their own business model.

I take the point on "whore" (I know I just made a joke about it before), that's fair -I'll stop using it too.
After all the point here is to be intimate with people, you'd think this communty oughta be pretty big fans of one another.
As far as the broader point, maybe a little less common ground there.
Groups that have special words that only they can use are often pretty willing to say pretty heinous stuff about other groups, or their (perceved) social and political "enemies". Often the ethic of "muh words" doesn't come from a genuine belief in civility it just comes from an opportunity to run the ball for their side of the culture war. At which point the rest of us kinda stop respecting it.
Once I see an activist making a throat-hawking noise when she says "hhhhhhhhwhite people" it's hard to remember why we are avoiding terms she would find offensive.

I completely get you @nice guy re: feeling like a king or a sucker who just wasted their money for the so called GFE. It really is depends on the girls, some geniunely enjoy what they doing and want to please (or at least good at acting it) and you've the opposite that almost seems like they despise it but still want the quick cash anyway.
I get it we all have the off days here and there but I have seen enough to tell who are the professionals that know how to manage their workload as to not affect their service and leave their client feeling shit afterward.
The reason why those starfishes can exist is basically in your name, because most clients I believe are genuinely nice guys, won't call things out (and will leave the session early instead) and the starfishs know they can get away with it and onto to the next one, especially the young and relatively good looking ones.

My DFK definitions is probably somewhere in between your LFK and DFK, but yes pushing things to the limit where you are actually hurting someone and saliva everywhere is definitely not cool. I wouldn't want the SW do that to me too!
What I hate is that SW offer DFK, take the money and then lip kissing only. Surely that's false advertising no matter how you dice it.

Sounds like the ladies you are booking are doing a good job if they are making you want a bit more action.
I always have excess punting cash on me so if there is any extras that I like that aren't in the current service then I can always pay a bit more where required. I do enjoy some dfk if the vibe is right.

Yes I think you are technically correct, but I think some people do have negative connotations when using that word.
As Ava and other have pointed out some ladies in the industry find it disrespectful. I'm sure there are other names that we can use that everyone can agree on? Not using that word and using something else is an easy quick fix?

We are on this forum to read and write reviews on sex workers. Wasting energy trying to get other people to use the language you want them to use seems like a piss poor waste of time in my opinion.
