Are any of you in unhappy marriages, or is it only the bedroom side of things?
If so, why not divorce?

Most are too scared to divorce. Often don't want to separate from the kids.
So they suffer it in silence.
They don't realise they can take charge and claim their lives back.
The financial hit is temporary and can be overcome and they can still have a great relationship with the kids.
My only caution is don't jump out of the frying pan into the fire.
 
I would honestly be more curious to hear how people staying with the same woman 10+ years managed to not be seriously tempted by whoring.
or how they keep their sex life interesting
married sex, in my experience, becomes very routine. not bad, but it just doesnt get your heart racing the same way anymore.
 
Im de facto. Im lucky to get it once a month and even then I do all the work and dont even receive oral when I give.

My job is quite physical and I work long hours. I am away from home for 12hrs during my weekdays (10hr shift and 1hr commute each way). I come home and 60% of the time I still have to cook and clean.

The only thing keeping me in it is the kids.

Online dating is too hard. I'm no supermodel.

Punting is so much easier. Im too tired and jaded for the rigmarole of dating and trying to find steady but casual sex.

Spoken like a woman who doesn't really understand how marriage and sex power play games play out.
Yes a few exceptions but poor old yellow skies experience once a month is quite normal.
And once they start rationing sex it won't improve. You might as well leave.
Sex is often used as control or punishment or sometimes they just cant be arsed.
Sex rationing usually goes hand in hand with other forms of abuse.
Looks like Yellow Skies is still trying to please her working 10 hours then cooking and cleaning.
Men often stay for the kids.
They need to leave and claim their freedom.

we all understand that people change with time, however there must be at least a few red flags that people choose to ignore...
in the end does it not all come down to ones choice in their partner?
if you are truly compatible then the passage of time will only strengthen your bond together - perhaps i am naive, i do admit...
this is quite an interesting topic, would love to hear more about your own personal thoughts regarding this
